F.A. Cup Third Round Games

Postby Harry Dowd scored » Fri Jan 08, 2021 3:27 pm

First up Villa reserves/youth team v the odious Dippers, also Wolves v Palace at the same kick off time. Pity about the Villa Covid situation, almost gives dippers a bye.

Pep says Sergio starts on Sunday. Great news even if he doesn’t last the full 90

Not for me. Hope they lose. The sooner they are out of a cup the better

Always feel the same for both red shite. Out as soon as possible. Doubt scouse will struggle against villa U23s and would not put it past them to look for revenge over last year's drubbing and the 7-2 in league. Be trouble if they don't win

I don't suppose any of the commentators will mention that the Sheik recently bought the 1896-1910 FA Cup, the one we won in 1904, and loaned it back to the National Football Museum, will they? Perhaps the BBC will on Sunday........

That's what happens when you have a bunch of hungry youngsters, given a free pass to impress and with absolutely nothing to lose.

I remember in the 1960’s going to Chorley to support Hyde United, I was only a kid, think it was the year I first went to City v Bury when Bell scored fr City and Harry Dowd equalised, think Hyde got battered at Chorley by 4 or five but it was a great experience if they had won the replay they would have been in first round proper, happy days those.

Derby youth team. Did Rooney even go to the game? This sending the youth team is a crazy precedence.

I see bobby duncan the next messi played up top for derby...the one that got away...NOT!
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just heard Chorley knocked Wigan out of cup, something we can’t seem to do.

Wigan are in a desperate state on the verge of going under after a shambolic and illegal takeover that went disastrously wrong . Take nothing away from Chorley a small rural town now living the dream absolutely fantastic.
