Chance to go top tonight, even if only for a couple of hours. Be good to get these matches in hand done and dusted when we are in form. Villa won’t be an easy game but we should have enough in our team to get the result.

Come on CITY

Torrential rain still here. Maybe at risk of wart-hogs on the pitch as showing no sign of let-up

The way Jesus has been playing , he doesn't even warrant a a place on the bench ...same applies to Mahrez.

Ederson ,Walker, Stones, Dias, Cancelo,Bernardo,De Bruyne, Rodri (I put him there as hes baldies number one player penciled in..even before Ederson !) Gundogan,Sterling, Foden
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

He was playing for palace the other day...he linked up well with their winger.

He has got to start at Cheltenham if Sergio is still out regardless of his performance tonight

Have to say I'm really lookin forward to watching Grealish pretending to be fouled/falling over and diving all the game and the commentators telling us he's the most fouled player in the league   . Gonna have to try and find the stream from sweden again :D (football of course) :D

On our current form we should win this, but weirder things have happened this season, not only to us....

No idea how depleted Villa will be after their COVID outbreak, at one point 10 of their first team had it!

As a club I was always indifferent to them, that was until 1st March last year at Wembley. Now I despise them with every fibre of my being. Absolute scum, the lot of them.

Heart says 4-0 , my head says 1-0

Your City line-up against Aston Villa!

XI | Ederson, Walker, Dias, Stones, Cancelo, Rodrigo, Gundogan, De Bruyne (C), Bernardo, Foden, Sterling

SUBS | Steffen, Jesus, Zinchenko, Torres, Mendy, Fernandinho, Mahrez, Garcia, Bernabe

I would have preferred Fernandhino over Rodri and then rest him against Cheltenham

Dont think Fern can do two games but that said, would not have thought he would play at Cheltenham so maybe he could have started tonight....
Got to be worried if you're GJ, cannot get a start - though youve not warramted one of late despite you being the only fit striket

Decent line up, but I dont like this no striker false 9 stuff. It simply wont be enough when we get into the big games in the spring.

Awful conditions. I’ll be glad to get through tonight with 3 points regardless of performance.
