Why are Sly neglecting their two pets?

Looks to me like the number manufactured match deciding decisions in favor of LiVARpool and Utd have dropped considerably (but the not so obvious ones continue).
For ex, goals being disallowed, penalty count down, opps goals not overturned?

Anybody else think the same?
If so why? Only thing I can think of is because so many matches are televised and so many people are watching them due to Covid that they cannot be to obvious or people will tune out? For ex, the penalties Utd were getting was becoming a standing joke on social media, this harms the product?

Anyone got any other reasons?

Perhaps managers and coaches have cottoned on to the fact that the rags get so many penalties where minimal contact is made and are telling/coaching their defenders to not make rash challenges in the box and to just shepherd the forward away. The rags forwards aren’t great in close quarter play with lots of defenders round them which is why they try to buy penalties in the first place

The match referee will of course give most of the 50/50s to the rags and attempt to break up play in the favour when he can. But when the rags rely on dodgy decisions game after game and can’t do it under their own steam, then the powers that be have no choice but to reign it in a little so it doesn’t appear corrupted

Im hoping one of the reasons is that most teams have caught on to the red shite's kick and rush "football " if you sit back, then they have no plan b, cannor play out from the back and crucially for them, cannot break inviting last-ditch tackles in dangerous areas. Dominate possession against them and they cannot get out either. I dont think its due to the Audience as the current situation is perfect for the broadcasters- think its more that they cannot get the opportunity to practise their dark arts with a VAR pen

They have possibly abandoned the rags upon realisation that they are shite and their fans brain dead plastic cunts ?

Even VAR would struggle to make the filth being top credible. They are pretty awful.

My opinion is that Sly have not abandoned their pets after all.
It is just that the pets are to far of the pace to take advantage of the preferential treatment.

But this is a big concern for the future.

Yesterday, least we forget.
It was 1-1 deep into the second half only because of the calls Liverpool got - a soft penalty for them, we should have had a second penalty,
no VAR reply for Stone's goal, a reluctance to give them yellows, etc...
In the past, these types of decisions were enough to swing results in Liverpool's favor (against us and others)

For Utd, just look at what happened with the second red for Southampton - no need for further explanations.

Looking forward it is a real concern.
The win/lose margins for elite level sports are usually very small when the playing field is level.
You are on a loser if the officials favor your opponents. Almost impossible for you to win.

That is where we will be sometime in the future.

What do people think?

Perhaps someone has damaging tapes of conversations between VAR refs and the other Officials (including SLY rats) ?

Has Tyler stopped reminding everyone that we haven't won at Anfield since 500 BC yet.

You can see it in this FA Cup game where West Ham haven’t put a foot wrong in the respect of trying to nick the ball and give the ref a chance to give a penalty or give a card. We did the same in the earlier League Cup game where both Rashford and Martial dived. Martial’s was so obvious but didn’t get a yellow but the ref couldn’t wait to give Rashford’s until the offside was called.

One of the other reasons is that other managers have called it out. It’s OK when someone like Dyche or Bruce mention it as most just poo-poo it as bitter fuckers because they lost but when someone like Klopp highlights it, knowing that he used to get those decisions, then people start to look more closely, even their own.

There’s also the truth that both of them are way off the pace and trying to force them to the top will just kill the game completely as nobody wants to see blatant cheating. They can always keep their powder dry and give the viewers a far closer competition between the 2 in years to come. That 19 v 20 rivalry can wait, for now.

You're quite right, these are just a couple of comment's from rawk, about Salah and Mane.

"Both have been diving left right and centre in a desperate attempt to make something happen and I haven't enjoyed that side of their game this season. Yes we've had some poor decisions go against us but the two of them flopping down theatrically at every chance is costing us IMO because refs don't want to give them decisions."

"Watch back any one of our games of late and you'll find countless examples of the two of them leaning back in to defenders and then flopping to the ground. I've never seen it from Mane before but he's been at it constantly for weeks now
