Relocation vs Monchengladbach

Postby PeterParker » Wed Feb 03, 2021 3:56 pm

Borussia Monchengladbach have asked FC Midtjylland to play the #UCL match against #ManCity on February 24th at the MCH Arena in Herning, Denmark - this is due to restrictions in Germany potentially making it impossible to host the game.
The request has been 'positively received' by FC Midtjylland, Herning Municipality and MCH Arena - the three parties that must approve the proposal. The #UCL match is welcome, as long as the authorities' Covid-19 regulations are complied with.

What a fucking farce. Why we are even being allowed to travel is beyond me.

Do we get a say?

What if we weren’t happy with relocating to the Faroes? Given the travel restrictions in place across Europe it is staggering that these ties are going ahead at all.

Same for the Euros. Why UEFA are insistent it will be held across multiple countries in the summer rather than in one country is quite baffling.

As for the Euro 2020 or 21, whatever, It should be scrapped. Same for Olympics, rugby 6 nations shite.

This is something I can't understand either.
We have almost a group, then a quarter-final, we are not at all ready for the Euros, we can't protect the teams.

One thing's guaranteed though.
If we win it, they'll all say it wasn't a proper chumps league.

Last seasons play-offs wasn't correct. I reckon we would have sorted out the mistakes in the second game...

All good, chaps.
Played them in Pro Evolution Soccer earlier. 5-1 away, 5-0 at home. We are in the next round.

Joke aside, curious about this. Scouse vs Leipzig is here also. Why?
