Was Yesterday As Good As The 6-1 At The Swamp ?

Postby City64 » Mon Feb 08, 2021 10:03 am

Sort of felt like it for me . And if the penalty went in and the marginal offside possibly the same score line .Either way a huge monkey off our back and a real statement made .
Not really here

No.

- Liverpool haven’t been our bitter rivals for years and years
- Not being able to see a stadium empty well before full-time
- Not being able to see our players celebrate in front of our fans
- Kolarov wasn’t there

No, but a close second. Make no mistake about it, they are now fucked with little investment unless they get lucky like they did with Coutinho's sale with Salah and Klopp producing his end-of-Dortmund managerial displays.

And long may it continue the classless bindipping c#nts.

No.
We'd spent so long being the laughing stock before the 6-1.
And the difference between scoring 4 and 6 is that once the fifth goes in, it moves from relief and satisfaction to hilarity and humiliation.
It was bloody fantastic thought not least for Gundo getting over the miss and Foden having an amazing 2nd half.
Thats my opinion anyway. I suppose is four of one half a dozen of the other.

Not even close.
Let's not hide the fact we were gifted two goals.

In the swamp was an excellence of football. Crushing in every department.

Not really near. The 6-1 was an historic victory and one which I still use to goad rag mates.

The 4-1 yesterday was very satisfying but doesn’t come close to above

Agree with all above . But the fact those of us who have to share the same oxygen and close proximity to the vile bin dipping cunts makes yesterday as good as the 6-1 at the swamp . I hate the rags with a passion but a least you can have a level of banter with the cunts . The bin dipping cult however are fucking beyond disgusting but now firmly in there place .

They've still got loads of that money left, though. Enough to consider a raid on Derby to buy back Jordon Ibe and Bobby Duncan, at least.

Was not expecting to spank utd the way we did but half expected us to turn scouse over.
Hopefully, we use that as a watershed like the fa cup semi and now lose the inferiority complex against the scouse at anfield
Would have loved the walk back to the coaches yesterday but most of them would have been bricked so maybe it was a blessing we weren't there. Give the local utd their due they were at Lime when we went there after the 6-1 scousers would have been twats yesterday

Not the same but we might have just ruined the scousers and Klopp.

No it was not.

The 1-6 at OT was the catalyst for the fall of an empire and the emergence of a new order. The King is dead, long live the King.
The 1-4 at Anfield was the catalyst for the fall of an over hyped, cheating team that had won one VAR assisted PL title.

No comparison for me.

No. Few things will ever top that day or even equal it, other than title winning days. It was superb though. No doubt.

The best one for me was the 2-1 season before last, that is the most intense game of football I’ve ever seen. The 1-6 of course was great as was yesterday.
