Pep Guardiola has been named Premier League Manager of the Month after guiding City to a perfect January.
MEN'S TEAM
However you look at it, Guardiola’s City are record breakers!
We won all six of our Premier League games, scoring 16 and conceding just one, a run of form that saw us move from eighth to first in the table.
Our Premier League form was part of our record-breaking nine-game winning streak in all competitions, the most by a team in the top four tiers of English football in a single month since the formation of the Football League in 1888.
We scored 24 goals and conceded just two in the process, winning two FA Cup fixtures and a Carabao Cup semi-final at Old Trafford in addition to our six league victories.

Absolutely shocked they didn’t try and screw him over. Was Steve Bruce not available to collect the award?

Obviously there could be absolutely no other credible possibility. If we had lost on Sunday Klopp would have got it

Speaks volumes - when after the way CITY have performed in January - we are still surprised
that he got the award

Well done to him. He has being doing well recently and overall it's deserved.
Still have the niggling worry we will get to a big game and he will do a Lyon on it.
Unpopular view here but he had a big slice of luck last Sunday. Playing Foden at no 9 (unproven in that position) and picking Mahrez were mistakes that he got away with.
When he changed it, then things worked out. But water under the bridge now.
He is a great guy and top manager, one of the very best, not not sure about classifying him as a genius, personally I wouldn't go quite that far. As he still has his obvious flaws. And the propensity for mistakes is still there. Let's just hope they are not costly ones.

I don’t think there ever has been and ever will be a manager that gets everything right. Teams always lose games and the manager takes the flack. The sign of a genius manager for me is trying new things and being able to recognise when it isn’t working and changing it , ie a Plan B.
I remember Mark Hughes was the worst culprit, when we were losing he’d just look into space and you could just tell that he hadn’t a clue what to do.

As easy a choice as there was so I’m surprised they didn’t fuck it up.

I think Klopp should have got it. It would have made him feel better and he needs all our help at the moment. Poor guy.

Always seems to be the one who has won the most games with Premier League manager of the month and City have been brilliant but I would have given it to David Moyes for his continued excellent work with West Ham.
What an absolute knob

That's it, Tebas and Raiola aswell, slugs.
All cut from the same cloth.
