Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Having all sorts of technical issues tonight, so I hope this works. I usually do not mind this lot, but no matter how hard I try there is always a hint of scouse seeping through. If our unbeaten record is going to come to an end, it better not be tomorrow night.

COME ON CITY!!!

Referee: Andre Marriner
Assistants: Scott Ledger, Richard West
Fourth official: Lee Mason
VAR: Simon Hooper
Assistant VAR: Derek Eaton

Team Selection

Olsen
Godfrey Mina Keane Digne
Doucoure Allan Davies
Iwobi Calvert-Lewin Richarlison

And the rest…

Hides under duvet.

Going to get an absolute metaphorical fisting on the pitch. Why we insist on playing a selection of immobile crabs I'll never know.

If we show similar levels of will, skill and application that were evident last night City score ten. How as a fan base we can predict performances like that when the manager can’t drives me nuts.

I'm banking on us lifting our game against teams at the top…City don't need to win this now and maybe they'll save themselves a bit for CL.

I'm slightly optimistic for this game. It's typical of Everton to beat Man City just to have us dwell on the Fulham result. Sets us up for fake optimism against the RS too. You heard it here first.

I can not imagine that we will win over City, but that is what we do when we have no expectations. City have been the best team in the PL for the last 4 seasons, and have a level that no other team in the world has. They play an insanely effective and attractive football. If they score the first goal, they will slaughter us. But they can of course have a bad day, so in that sense one has hope.

Wake me up when it's over !!

Don’t want to see Richarlison, Sigurdsson and Coleman near the starting Xl.

I honestly haven’t got a clue against City...we are going to get mashed…Just whatever formation takes the least dry bumming.

Be the most us thing ever, to win this match.

Get battered by City, beat Liverpool, tell all the Kopites on Twitter that we did it just to annoy them, successful few days.

unlikely to win but we really do need a league win and soon to have any sort of chance for Europa.

Have we had an explanation yet why the original game was called off without even consulting the club?

Certainly not anything acknowledged publicly, it was shameless from City, but because of the sensitivity around Covid, no one brave enough to push on it

God help us. Next two games.

All signs point to this being ninety minutes of methodical torture for us with Man City knocking the ball about freely and seemingly scoring at will. Haven't made my mind up on whether to watch the game or just squat down in a dark room for an hour and a half with my testicles soaking in a pint glass of Domestos; not sure which one will be the worse experience.

Comfortable 6-0 defeat. And that’s with the ref on our side.

To be honest, I am more confident of getting a result here than I was versus Fulham…Their winning run has to end sometime.

A tall order as City will treat this one as the Premier league Cup final. Win this game in hand and they are champions really. So we are up against a scary force…Maybe the occasion could get to them. Maybe they will sex us without mercy.

Tbf we have almost always given them a game.

Be afraid, be very afraid.

In the daftest way possible, I actually see us having a good go at City tonight. Provided Sigurdsson doesn't play and DCL is back i'm stupidly optimistic we'll take something from it.

Think I'm gonna take a page out of the players book and not bother showing up for this one.

This is going to be a nasty one.

Man City play beautiful football but they’re also super snide and love leaving a foot in too even if they aren’t your traditional grock types

It’s crazy that City have had so many key players out yet still manage to walk the league, at least they haven’t been making excuses up and just getting on with it unlike a certain other club.

Carlo didn't seem very upbeat about the game tbh, think a hammering is coming for us here. 1-3 is generous.

I feel sick as a dog before the game even start it yet , instead of going to Anfield with the amount of points and from 5th spot we will get hammered tomorrow and again on Saturday , who else can help redshite to get back to winning track , next week we will be unfortunately at 10th spot after three loses , I am not negative at all

"we'll get beat 6-0 even with the ref on our side" that lad seems to be on the ball regarding refs.

While we celebrate the unbelievable level of football that City put out each week, Comments like those above are a complement to the standard of football we are playing.
When fans, grudgingly or otherwise make comments like those above,it shows that there is some form of admiration to what Coty are doing.
Unlike the hate generated last season when their nearest and dearest neighbours took the title.

There is always one cunt isn't there..........

Have we had an explanation yet why the original game was called off without even consulting the club?

Because fucknut, we had high levels of COVID infections and it would have been totally irresponsible to have gone a head & potentially fuck your club up with COVID. Abosolute wanker of a scouse twat.

Other than that fairly levelled responses.

As i have said elsewhere, i have an uneasy feeling about this one, can't quite put my finger on it, hope to God i am wrong

For a team legitimately challenging for top 4 for the first time in ages, they were really negative.

Found this then one booked the most

Get battered by City, beat Liverpool, tell all the Kopites on Twitter that we did it just to annoy them, successful few days.

Fantastic result.

Are we champions?? Arsenal!!!!

I'm with Pep, one game at a time.
