I'd be shocked if he went to a club which ended his dad's career. That's normally pretty important to people isn't it? Unless he doesn't like his dad

I rather think he will go to Bayern next summer for the release clause of £65M as a direct replacement for Lewandowski.

Highly doubt it for various of reasons. 1) Haaland seems like ultracompetitive guys, he will want to challenge himself in one of the best leagues and make it as a world star. No matter how you spin it that means either Premier League or more likely La Liga. 2) Bayern, at the end of the day, are quite frugal with the money. They seem to have pretty strict transfer ceiling of about 45m tops. Hernandez pops out but when you take Hummels transfer back to Dortmund in account we are again at that range.

It's surprising how many clubs actually have transfer fee ceiling that is quite predictable. For us it's that about 65m range. United are willing to operate close to 100m. Liverpool roughly 85m. Barcelona 150m. PSG all the way to 200m. Chelsea 80m. Juventus 75m. For some special talent that might stretch a little bit especially through add ons and how payments are spread (we are apparently little bit different here as we according to reports pay money up front). That does NOT mean City are by no means cheap. We are actually willing, if needs be, buy more than one player close to that top range. It's just that we aren't willing to go much above it. I actually like that stance and we are very strong when it comes to markets of less flashy positions like defensive midfielders and fullbacks. For Pep's system out and out striker just isn't as big of a deal as for most systems. But harsh reality is that biggest transfer fees are paid for strikers and attacking midfielders and in that market 65m isn't very much.

A million quid a week? Give over!

He was a threat though and would gobble up chances and defenders for us.

Not scored in 6 now. Hardly earth shattering but he’s probably never gone more than 2 games without a goal before!!!

Looks over hyped and over rated having seen him in the two games versus us . Stupid price tag and Raiola is a first class cunt .

Don’t know what you guys were watching, but he was causing problems throughout the 90 constantly. And that’s what we need imo.

Spot on. Over two legs he looked a long long way off mbappe.

We cut off pretty much all supply to him so he was very restricted in what he could do.

The one time he did receive a decent ball he left Stones in no mans land and they scored.

Over the 2 legs it was difficult for him as we were the better side overall in both games. But I still think he'd do very well for us with our midfielders and wingers supplying him.

He got an assist in the first leg and also put Dias on his arse. Last night he caused their goal. He was constantly moving and causing problems - exactly what Pep wants

He played the target man role which isn't really his thing despite him being tall and fairly strong. Looked dangerous at all times and worked our defenders with off the ball runs (from what I gathered from telly). Still extremely impressed. He isn't going to come though with that price tag and Raiola.

Lets just focus on selling Sterling , regardless of having a forward in place or not..
