MotM v Arsenal

Postby Beefymcfc » Sun Feb 21, 2021 6:28 pm

Even though we won I’d suggest it’s none of our attacking players.

Fernandinho just. How old is he?! Stones and Dias were also excellent.

Either of Stones or Dias. Bernie was good too but Stones it is. What a revival from the lad

Dias or Stones. Flip a coin

Zinchenko was comfortable as was Fernandinho

Solid, team effort once again. That’s all that actually matters

Ruben'/ Stones looking assured as ever and Fernandinho, I wish we could wind the clock back 5 yrs so he could start every game.

But I've given it to Zinchenko who made some important blocks from their corners and crosses on several occasions and his over all contribution all over the pitch.

I enjoyed it. Controlled the game and basically gave Arsenal nothing. Kept us hanging though due to the close score but kept them from getting anywhere close. Just trying to remember if they had a shot on target?

A scruffy 1-0, but another 3 points nevertheless. 10 more scruffy 1-0 wins and its ours again, I'll take that! :D

Dias just ahead of Fern.
Dias is just a beast, wins everything and the way he brings the ball out of defence is a joy

Stones - the fair shoulder barge was class for me too. Sort of thing he was once too 'nice' to do.

Dias. As solid as ever and crossed halfway a few times trying to get the attack moving.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.
