How we line-up in the #UCL tonight!
XI | Ederson, Walker, Dias, Laporte, Cancelo, Rodrigo, Gundogan, Bernardo, Sterling (C), Foden, Jesus
SUBS | Steffen, Carson, Stones, Aguero, Zinchenko, De Bruyne, Torres, Mendy, Fernandinho, Mahrez, Garcia, Doyle
Stones benched for Laporte & Cancelo over Zinch at LB, other than that, what most of us wished for?

kdb rested or out for tactical reasons? last season he would have started, even if tired/injured.

Not about playing your best 11 every single time mate. They'll soon all be fucked
We never know who has knocks and strains. You play the same 2 every week then 1 gets injured and Laporte is not sharp enough
It's a big balance act

I actually think Stones being on the bench is alright. He’s had a couple of injury hit seasons so it’s probably best not to run him in to the ground - save him for the important matches.
Again, the only issue I have is giving the captaincy to someone that isn’t a captain. Gundo and Dias need the band.

More than happy with that team although I thought he would rest a couple more up top. BM are a decent side and currently sat 8th in the league but aren’t getting the results of late. Last 3 they’ve lost 2 and drawn 1, the loss coming last time out to Mainz who are 2nd from bottom.
We have more than enough to get a result in this game and I’m going for a 2-0 win.

When do you suggest we play Laporte? Last time we over played Stones when he was on top form got injured and disappeared for months. What if either Dias or Stones pick up an injury, do you expect Laporte to step up after being fucked off? Whether you like him or not, squad rotation is paramount to sustain our form

Absolutely
Look at the dippers after playing the same XI virtually every game for 3 seasons. They are now physically and mentally fucked
Pep has picked a side he and his coaching staff believe is good enough to win the match in question whilst having an eye on injuries/rotation/suspensions etc in the upcoming games
Be amazed if we dont progress

Not convinced he won’t play Walker Dias and Laporte in a back three with Cancelo playing in effect midfield. KDB not seen as fit for 90? Fair enough. Hopefully Sergio gets some minutes.

100% They’ve already taken a point off us this season and no doubt Lingard and co will want to do us!

Rio gushing over us in the BT studio, Hargreaves praising Jesus' all round game and not just his goal stats.
Have I woken up in an alternate reality.
