David Moyes

This maybe controversial, but I was impressed with the way West Ham were set up yesterday, they made it very difficult for us, kept their shape the concentration levels were incredible. Moyes must take credit for this. When I think back to the time he took over from the GPC he was set up to fail, whilst the narrative was that he had inherited the champions the truth is he had inherited an ageing team that had over performed to win the PL, players like Cleverly, Fletcher, Rafael, Wellshit and Phil the face do not belong in PL winning team. It was inevitable that a team rebuild would lead to inconsistency and poor league position.
I am of the opinion the GPC knew this and jumped ship, he did not want to be associated with anything approaching failure, and, could rightly point his successor would be manager of the champions, like I said, Moyes was set up to fail, I may be wrong but this is my take on what happened to Moyes.

They looked a little bit like his reasonably successful Scouse team. Very organised and determined

Glaswegian piss can?

Moyes should never have left goodison IMO and of course bacon face retired when he did (A) out on a high of winning the league (B) knowing full well the tide had turned and that noisy neighbours were never going away (C) most importantly he knew he didn't have the fight in him for a rebuild.

Parking history to one side, yes Moyes deserves all the credit for the way they set up but more importantly keeping the discipline and based on this Hammers will deserve top4 and Europe next season if they maintain it, which I reckon they will.

After the man ure debacle where he was most definitely thrown under the bus, his confidence was shot and he pinged round making more bad career decisions, but seems to have found his feet.

Do I like him as a person, no, but he seems to have got his shit together again professionally, so fair play to him.

This was how i saw them yesterday too. Thrown under the bus by Ferguson who did not want to jeopardise his own legacy at the swamp. Moyes was stale at goodison without investment and the redshite would not have come knocking for him again so cannot fault him for going there
Got a decent squad a lot of his own doing so much as u don't like the cnut, happy for the hammers

I like West Ham and their fans they remind me of where City were 12 / 13 years ago .

I dont think they did anything different to any of the other teams that come to the etihad, we just made it more difficult than it should have been by playing a team full of rusty players akin to what we do in the early rounds of the carling cup.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He is and always was a joke as far as tactical ability goes. Fuck that cunt.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Can’t deny they are over achieving but by the same token plenty are massively underperforming which is helping him.
Tracking back is overrated.
