MotM v Wolves

Postby Beefymcfc » Tue Mar 02, 2021 10:16 pm

Brilliant. You can see us playing within ourselves and then when a team gets a sniff of a chance we turn it up and take the game away from them.

Pep is only looking at the Rags but there were some star shows out there tonight.

Got to be the Algerian prince. I will never be his biggest fan, i think he is someone we did not need and he has had far more bad games than good but credit where its due, recently he has been on it and deserves it tonight. Now keep it up you lazy fucker....!

Mahrez

But thought Bernie once again and Rodri were decent as well. Walker gave us energy down the right with Mahrez also.

Does the industry from the rest of the team bring out the best in Mahrez?

Sublime first touch in tight situations and our best creative forward player . Working harder aswell and chasing back when required, scoring goals aswell complete player .

Mahrez is great in this side but the work rate that Bernardo puts in is amazing. However, Jesus put the same work rate in and settled the game.

Well worth my vote.

Since the awful “performance” that Mahrez put in at Cheltenham he’s been good.

Mahrez MOTM with admirable shout outs for Jesus and Laporte who i thought was the best of the defence.

Can't see why Kev got so much stick on the match thread. A couple of stray passes but some unbelievable ones as well. He was the one who was making everything happen. Bernie gave the ball away twice in 5 minutes at the start of the 2nd half but nobody says a word. Kev also covered more miles than anyone else on the team.
