At the behest of one of our meatier members I have started the derby pre match thread early. For interest I have pulled some stats off tinternet, hope you find them interesting-:

Statistics
As of 6 January 2021, there have been 184 competitive meetings between the teams. United have won 76, City 55 and the remaining 53 games finished as draws.

The biggest victories have been to City, who have won 6–1 on two occasions in the official league (both times in the away fixture at Old Trafford); on 23 January 1926 and 23 October 2011. United beat City 7–1 in a War League match at Maine Road on 14 April 1941, but this is not considered an official fixture and thus the result is not counted as the biggest win in the derby.[57] Both teams have won 5–0 once (City in 1955, United in 1994). The largest attendance for a Manchester derby was 78,000 on 20 September 1947,[57] a time when both clubs were playing at Maine Road, as Old Trafford was being repaired following damage sustained in the Second World War.

Are we one up yet?

Joke aside, they will have only one target, keep in mind, stop our run.
With every means necessary. Including Anthony the rag cunt Taylor.

Have a sneaky suspicion we will see the return of the false 9.

And I think Srerling needs a rest.

Ferna
KDB
Silva
Gundo

With Mahrez and Foden wide.

Although with Jesus getting 2 last night pep might be tempted.

Whatever happens as long as we 'dont hold back' (some think we have been deliberately playing within ourselves) and smash these cunts to pieces.
That will do.

They've been for almost a decade now, that is not the issue. The issue is we need to be smart and win.

Likemost one here,I can remember thinking about the derby for weeks before match day. We were never going to win the league but if we had the bragging rights over them it meant some particle of positivity in the City argument.

Now, I couldn't give a flying fuck. I knowthat whatever the resut the roles have been reversed. The derby is just another game on the City journey to the top.
In the bigger picture, the result is of no consequence and it won't change a thing.
We are far better than them and the way their club is being managed by their owners compared to our owners are managing City,we have nothingto fear from them in the coming years.

The opposite of love isn't hate, it is irrelevence and that is exactlywhatthe rags currently are..IRRELEVANT.

Beating them is just a laugh. Another nail in the coffin. another reason forus to take the piss....and we have plenty to laugh at already

We have been incredibly smart during our 29 game unbeaten record run why will it suddenly change against a mediocre rag side that has no belief and a shit defence that has relied on dodgy penalties to get them where they are today ....... a massive 15 pts behind us ! Rag fans are absolutely dreading facing us , OGS can spout whatever shite he wants they are nowhere near our level . Only we can fuck this up and that just isn’t going to happen with this team and the form we are in . The time has come not to give a fuck and enjoy .

This.. And the 2-3 when the league title was there to be won still pisses me off. We should have been out of sight at half time but weren't thanks to Sterling's inability to finish several one on ones and the assault on Aguero by Young that wasn't given. I hope this is payback time. Sick of hearing about their 20 game unbeaten away run.

For once, I will be keeping an eye on slysports and ssn to see how they intend to big up this game.

IF we win, that is it more or less effectively over, will they try and big the rags up and make themselves look like twats in the process?

Quick visiting the rag cafe was a real treat. The feckers don't believe that they will get anything from this. I would gladly see our 22:nd win in a row come here.

I hope we humiliate these cunts. Have them shown up for what they really are, a shambles. With that cunt of a ref we have to be calm and clinical, he'll be happy to give yellow cards to us at every opportunity.

It's already done. We need 20 points from 33 available to be mathematically certain. We've dropped 16 so far in 27. With an advantage of +18 in goal difference, in all likelihood, 19 does it unless they have a couple of Southampton results. Leicester could be closer to us after Sunday.

Just get Rodri (or Fern as the case may be) to stamp on Fernandes's achilles in the first minute and the game is over.

They've only got 1 player though, we've got 20 or so
