Wont bore anyone with how long I have been gong etc etc!! For gods sake I have seen the worst the best and now the incredible, thru the Fregie years we still won Derbies but no trophies all that is now happening is a role reversal. As much as it hurts and it does hurt me , reason why I hate derbies!! way to IMPORTANT TO LOSE. But lose we will now and again, but if trophies are picked up and the scumbags end up with nothing well I leave it to you who has got the bragging rights?? Remember 1999 , basically the third division play off , great day, club changed forever that day. However scumbags won the treble!! Now see role reversal.

Said before club as a business changed for the good under Francis Lee , but he forgot the heart of the club and its fans is on the pitch, should never of removed Brian Horton he was getting there!! David Bernstein did a fabulous job. Then Thaksin , and now the Sheikh and Khaldoon , Ferrano are/ have turned this wonderful club of ours into a world brand. This is more than any of us could ever imagine playing York City away? Sven ,Mark Hughes all played a part !! The next level came with Mancini and Pellegrini. Now the icing on the cake is we have the best Manger in the WORLD bar none. Whatever people think on here thats what he is and he is also fallible , he does get it wrong as we know in tactics and selection. But then he goes away and comes back stronger than ever, somebody said you cant reinvent the wheel, well " PEP CAN AND DOES" Trophies in the cabinet prove it!! Thank God he is human and does ,are mistakes because by doing so its the only way you will get even better. A few tweaks and two new faces in the summer, Haaland, a left back and some more of the young lads coming through and with Pep at the helm this will be the greatest footballing side Football will of ever seen and remain so till someone matches them , which again is what competition is all about. We are being critical after 21 straight wins and injuries to Kun and Brown.
I do understand the critics though. A repeated mistake with team selection against the team we want to beat the most - painfully.

As I said on another thread. If we go on to win the PL then the result against the Rags is insignificant.

The issue for me is if we do not learn from Sunday's repeated mistake, we will probably lose to Spuds in the LC and fail in the CL and maybe even blow the PL?

Great post mate. My dad started taking me at 8 years old, 1st season ticket in 69/70.
Loved Francis Lee as a player and dead excited when he became chairman then tainted his legacy forever by sacking King Colin, and like you say getting rid of Horton who had us playing great football and bringing in the worst manager ever in Alan Ball.

Regards derbies we actually didn't win one after the 89 5-1 until the last Maine Road one when Gary Neville fed the goat. After that we won a few.

Like you say we've got the best in the world now and if they win a derby and we win the League again and hopefully more trophies on top then i know who's gpt the best deal.

Let’s stop pretending United are as poor as we were when we were a yoyo club. They could still win a cup. They’ll never know the depths we sank to and still stuck with the club through it all. Stop giving them credit.

I think it's a case out of all teams in the league we had to lose to these lot, I get it was inevitable our run will come to an end but wish it wasn't to the scum.

I hope we meet them again in the FA semi or even final and make sure they'll end up potless

We've lost 3 games in all competitions this season . Our own mistakes cost us on Sunday, not fantastic Rag football. I hope we get them in the FA Cup because we turn up against them when there's a cup on the line.

You are a pair of drama queens. There is no way they get anywhere close to us and will probably be even further behind after the next round of fixtures. That was all they were playing for on sunday - exactly where we used to be all getting giddy over beating them whilst they moved on to lift a trophy. I hate the cnuts and nothing at all comes close to getting beat by them i am still frothing at the mouth BUT they are ultimately shite and will be double digits off us at seasons end

Yes its good enough against the average PL sides.
Will that level of performance be good enough to win the champions league, or even the rags again in the cup, if that happens.
