I’m genuinely devastated mate. A lot of memories on THAT day that make me emotional. Sharing the day and celebrations with family that aren’t here anymore, it’s hit quite hard.

Not just because Sergio was the one that got us that goal, but because he’s the last man standing from that era really.

I’m not so sure on this occasion mate. The club could have asked him to take a pay cut as it’s likely he’ll be a backup option - he may not have agreed. Pep may have thought Sergio’s head wasn’t 100% in it. Who knows.
Like I say, probably not worth speculating too much because it will sour the memories

This smacks of Khaldoon's desire to end speculation, respect a legend and maintain focus for the trophy hunt. Outstanding timing and leadership, IMHO. Pep would have been central to it too.

Gutted.

Honestly think he could play till forty and we just role him on when we need a goal and leave him in the box. He would have needed to adjust his game but could have easily done it.

Probably thinks he has a good three years in the tank left and wants to play as much as possible. There isnt a club in the world who wont want him. Barcelona my money is on. Finally gets to play with Messi at club level.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah fair.

If he made his mind up/ lost focus I get it but he's a legend and still quality. I want to see more goals not him whimper away like a has been.

Sergio Aguero has scored as many PL hat-tricks as Cristiano Ronaldo, Eric Cantona, Dennis Bergkamp, Daniel Sturridge, Jurgen Klinsmann, Gianluca Vialli, Louis Saha, Gareth Bale, Roberto Firmino, Samuel Eto'o, Stan Collymore & Olivier Giroud combined

He’s promised a few times over the years that he’ll stay until we win chumps league. Come on city let’s win it for him this year so I don’t have to dismiss him as nothing more than a charlatan
