Legend is probably over used but Aguero’s goal went a long way towards defining the club. Was probably never Pep’s style of player but made changes to his game and his place in City folklore is assured. Ridiculous how underrated in terms of pfa recognition he was but his contribution to this club and to that day in my life will never be diminished. Wherever your road takes you Kun, good luck and thank you.

It makes things clear as possible to any potential incomming transfer target that there is a place vacant at the front. Signals now that Kun won't be hovering in the background, so whoever is the target will be a straight shoehorn in.
Also tells us all that a new forward now will be with us the start of the new season, not that there was ever much doubt anyway

Gutted liked everyone else here but this day was coming, sooner or later. I wish him all the best wherever he ends up and there not enough words to thank Kun for what he has done for us.

The telltale signs where there before his exit was announced in public. I guess he goes to Barca now and why not. He have done more than we hoped for.

Thanks Kun.
Unbelievable striker and a class act on and off the field.
Looking forward to seeing that well deserved statue.

To me it looks like Kun's replacement is lined up, otherwise we could be held to ransom and we never let that happen.
If true that rules out Kane and Haaland.

Testimonial in a pact stadium is a must.

Same time I feel the sadness and same time relief. As I said, I would have HATED to see it turn sour. Football fans are, after ali, fickle bunch. Me included.

Also, this will save wages for new number one striker.

Only seeing this now. End of an era. Guess he is Barca bound? never caused us any grief an absolute monster striker. Was lucky to be in Naples when he broke our all-time scoring record and i doubt anyone will break that back any time soon. Bueno suerte Kun

If so, that puts pay to any continuation of rumours about us chasing Messi, I'd guess.

I hope that Baldie will use him because the argie bastard will be 100% motivated to go with a bang, I have no doubt in my mind he will give everything on the pitch.

It's an odd one. Sell 33yr old Luis Suarez and a year later sign 33yr old Sergio Aguero. As much as I can't stick Suarez, he's still scoring for fun at Atletico.

Aguero will be top scorer in Spain facts.

Hope we are signing someone decent like haaland or we will look mugs

It's us that have not offered a contract remember..

I have a question, sorry i haven't had chance to read through the thread since the news broke last night.

I have read Sergio's statement he released on twitter
I have read the article/release on mancity.com with Khaldoon calling Sergio a legend and confirming a statue.
I have read earlier today BBC sports web page

The question is: Sergio leaving, is it his decision, a mutual one OR as implied in the BBC article the club didn't offer him an extension full stop?

I somewhat doubt he wasn't offered SOME kind of extension at all?

I am fairly sure that Pep made a statement last week saying KDB, Sergio & Razzers contract talks would be done post season as not to distract, so this doesn't sound right to me.

I really hope he doesn't end up with Barca alongside Messi, as that would make us look stupid after all the speculation of Messi coming here (not that i wanted that). The press will have a field day as usual at our expense and Barca will be laughing their tits off at us!!

Wouldn’t surprise me if his bird has made the decision for him. He does seem like a wet lettuce on social media.
