I really hope Aguero read Gio Reyna’s story and gave him his shirt after the match.

No doubt. Very poor. KDB and Foden aside, not good enough.

City because Dortmund have no chance vs. PSG/Bayern so there's really no point in them going through at this point. Plus, City have the quadruple to play for and are having a great season. Meanwhile, Dortmund have played like absolute shit all season and shouldn't be rewarded by going through to the SF.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Sigh. It's going to be flip of a coin in Dortmund.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Disagree Mate, Tonight we were very poor by our standards, yet we still managed to get the win we needed, if not the result we wished for.
I can't see us playing as poorly over there.
The onus is on Dortmund to come out, the counter attacking style won't be as useful to them and that will crreate gaps for us to take advantage of.

Yep, we were lucky with a major reffing decision but we've been on the receiving end too often to complain about that.
I fancy our chances over there to win the tie outright and go further.

Mate, they are deadly at home and will have time to regroup. This is also their main competition this season. That away goal really hurts us. I'm genuinely of opinion that it can go either way 50/50 chance. Early goal and we'll have a good chance but if it drags on 0-0 for a long time we'll be struggling. They are guaranteed to score at home.

I think I've dreamt of the game last night.

Today I don't feel that good about the result. Of course, a win, but we need to open the score in Germany or we are out. We showed many times, sadly, that in Pep's era we are poor when it comes to chase a goal, however, yesterday we've seen something we barely see: a late winner after we conceide.

We were piss poor, but the lineup was spot on. I just can't put my finger on why we look so shit. Either Pep is somehow nervous as fuck and the players feel him, or the players have mental jam, something, that stops them from thinking straight in the quarter finals. Rodri had two major fuck ups last night and at the third Reus scored. I think we will see Fern in the second leg, I reckon Baldie did not play him because he is on a yellow, but he needs to start there. Also Gundo and Bernie were poor, it shows once more that the trio KDB, Gundo and Bernie does not work. The two were shit, but Kevin was everywhere, motm for me.
Also, what the hell is with our pitch? Is not the first time it looked like this this second part of the season. Is there a weird weather in Manchester and our staff don't know what to do or what?

Now, the ref. Is it me or they are super overracting? Maybe the assistant wanted an autograph for his kid? Or he is a collector?
I was baffled by the local reaction on Hategan last night. You saw it on BT1, I saw it on the local network and the two commentators spoke bad about him sincer our "penalty" until the end of the game. Today I see now they are on the assistant also.
If I am not mistaken, the "leaks" with the autograph you saw on BT were from the local media here. The backstory of this is that Digisport (the local broadcaster) have a specialist in a guy called Craciunescu, big ref in the 90s, was in charge of the UCL final in 95. Anyway, this fella was sacked by the romanian council that supervizez de refs, similar to PIGMOL, a few years back and replaced by Kyros Vassaras who opened some door at UEFA for our refs. Since that moment, Digi & Craciunescu have a very, very big offensive on every ref we have. They were fuming after the incident in Paris with Demba Ba and wanted big sanctions for the whole brigade, including Hategan.
So that is that.

Anyway, Wednesday will be a battle in every single way possible. I hope I will not see some innovations, 3 on the back or fuck knows what. Same 11 will do, but be smart about it and play our game.

There’s no panic. We could have been 3 up before they scored had we taken our chances. Have our finishing boots on in the second leg and we’ll be fine.

Didn't we win 15 away games on the bounce? I'm not overly confident but optimistic, I think its 70/30 to us, don't forget they're defensively poor but still dangerous. If we consider ourselves the best, these are the games we need to see through

This and outcast's following post. We were largely shit last night, nervous all over the pitch. Pick the same 11 and put our big boy pants on and we will be fine. Score first and we could end up smashing them . They cannot rely on the counter at home and have to score which works in our favour. Will it be a difficult game - yes they are no mugs but with the late winner we are well placed

Pep should rest KDB against Leeds. If we are to get through to the semis, without any doubt we will need to play much better next Wednesday and Kev should be kept fresh for that game.

Dortmund will be quite pleased with that result. Thankfully no fans is a massive plus for us as it would be like going to anfield and defending a one goal lead if there were fans.

Im not sure why we looked so nervous, team selection was perfect, just cant put my finger on it. So many silly mistakes from our players. They cut through our midfield very easy i felt and broke our press a bit easy for my liking.

Im with NDQP its 50/50.

Id change all 10/11 for sats game against leeds
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
