A lot of talk here about Mendy being bad and I’m not going to defend him but the fact remains both goals came from the right where Cancelo and Stones fucked up !!

Think we missed Dias big time, as good as Stones has been he's not a leader. The dude needed resting, it's s shame the others at the back didnt step up.

What worries me is if Stones started yesterday, then it is a big, big chance Laporte will start on wednesday.
Laporte was sleeping vs Lyon and Spuds, our last two exits.

Laporte not fit. That's why he wasn't in the squad yesterday.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

I see the Leeds fans are saying Cooper's tackle was fine because he got the ball first but Fernandinho should have been red carded for the foul on Raphinha which got booked for. The difference was that Fernandinho only sidechecked Raphinha and while it may have left him with a heavy bruise it was never going to break his leg like Cooper's shitebag challenge. No mention about the non-penalty for the shirt pull on Stones.

We ahould be more concerned at how easily Dortmund came rhrough the middle never mind the cb pairing. That is not all on Rodri - the midfield did not function properly and i expect us to sort that out for Wednesday

Posted in the Dortmund thread, but Fern was needed there. I had the impression Baldie saved him because he was on a yellow and might miss the second leg. Rodri doesn't have the football brain to be a defensive mid, he is very Yayaesque without the skill and speed. There were many breaks from Dortmund he should have stopped, but he didn't. In those scenarios, you see Fern with a fault that breaks all their play and momentum. We've seen it for 8 years now with him.

I was surprised he started yesterday, now there are zero chances he will in Germany.

Just realised it could have been worse, Harrison on loan from City couldn’t play against us, been one of their best players this season

It would have been worse if we'd needed the points.

Imagine if they had Harrison they would have wiped the floor with Pep’s brain fart team and end up with demoralising hammering
