Relax Harry. The media say a lot of things.

I am with Harry, but not because of the media, but because we seem to make some of the most unexplained errors I've seen. They are so absurd you might think they are on purpose.
At this moment you cannot rotate 8 players. It's not possible to do that and also keep the momentum.

What hurts right now is the knowledge that having basically gambled a huge match with nonsensical changes and after watching the match unfold with most of the first XI playing team sat beside him, the manager still didn’t make changes to try and affect the outcome. Criminal

But what is worse and what’s the real kicker, is that it will happen again before the season is out which may cost us more glory. There are 10 games left. Play the best XI every game. It isn’t December with a hectic schedule coming up. The end is in sight and winning breeds confidence and is a habit. We had a chance, albeit a small one, to create history that will never be equalled. And to throw it away like it didn’t matter? I’d far rather go out in a blaze of glory than a shitty whimper like today.

Total fuckup from Pep today, no doubt about it, from start to finish. He could make five subs and yet Sterling stayed on for 95 minutes with Mahrez and Bernie on the bench !!!

We cannot rely on that side to drag us over the line in the league. They will win 1 game, maybe two tops.

Time to just get the PL won. Sod the cups, we cannot risk rotating for them.

I have only seen a few games and clips but going off last night Cole Palmer deserves a game before Sterling gets into the side again. He has been shite for weeks now running up blind ally’s, cant pass 10 yards and shooting is way off, his confidence looks to be on the floor, midweek clean through and doesn’t even make the keeper work. He needs taking out of the side for his own sake as much as anything else

I don't give a fuck about Chelsea or the fa cup. The quadruple was and always will be just bollocks.

But I care about Wednesday, and I dont want to see any of the B team anywhere near the side Wednesday.
Full strength and get the 3 points, get the league done.

Look at team again
Why the reserve keeper
Why Mendy, surely Ake could not have done worse
Why Sterling who looks like he is out of sorts ( being polite)
Why Rodri and Fern and not Gundo
Why Jesus who seems to be getting worse
Why Torres who has been aweful
Ffs Pep you get paid millions and cannot see what we can

He makes wholesale changes but plays KDB, who then gets injured. I cannot understand pretty much anything that Pep did yesterday. Absolutely appalling management.

I think pep made mistakes yesterday in that there were too many changes, I mean 8 changes WTF is that about.
Having said that is it his fault that our front 3 were beyond awful? And offered no real threat.
Think the players need to shoulder some blame here.
I mean we all know Jesus is not good enough but usually tries, yesterday though he was anonymous.
Delap and palmer would have not been any worse than jesus and sterling.
Torres I wont write him off, he is new and has time.

I just can't believe in making all these changes every game now, we need to have our strongest team out on Wednesday and the cup final, tweak it a bit for PSG but not much as its a 2 game semi final, and keep mendy and sterling out of these next few games

Fern and Rodri together is never going to work. I thought Fern would play with Gundo and Rodri would be rested.
If Walker plays they don't score that goal in my opinion- how often has he got back and blocked in that situation.
Mendy, words fail- that was his worst performance yet ,can't even take a throw in and Sterling's body language was disgusting, looked like he couldn't give a fuck.
And what the hell was the goalie doing for the goal.

true that , Walker's speed would have been helpful there. What is however scandalous is that Mendy thought it ok to trot back , when he could see the complete move and see the scorer was free . That is one reason of many , why Mendy should not be here ( well he wasn't really there - for the goal).

I think Fern was showing his age too yesterday .

It is a shame about Torres, i think he will come good , but Sterling ! , lost for words . I think he is ready to move on . I wonder sometimes if he is playing deliberately bad .

Brainwashed fans convinced by the media we are in for the quadruple when, to be fair, Baldie or anyone from the club never said that.
