This could all have been a ploy against us.
Maybe I am being too cynical.

Some reports all others are still committed, including Chelsea.

Wouldn’t that be typical City.

Most of the players have been vocal in being against it. I can’t see a lot of them wanting to join the remaining 11 clubs.

If that's the case and uefa, FA, premier league stand to arm's, we've just lost quite a few opponents in Premier league and chumps league.

Rather Ironically uefa latest statement thanks us and actually call us "a real asset"

Be hilarious. We’d be seen as upholding the values of the game whilst the others get vilified.

Gobber & Ratboy still want to see our blood on the steps - Souness curling his lip about our owners as well, 179 page contract was signed apparently - he reckons at least a year in the negotiation. We must have had a cancel within 14 days clause put in ours

From the BBC

The remaining four English teams have decided to pull out of the Super League.

BBC Sport understands a formal announcement will be made this evening.

The moves comes at the end of a seismic day, which had already seen Manchester City pull out, with Chelsea due to follow suit.

BUGGER!
We ( the EPL teams) should have pulled up the drawbridge while we had the chance!

Yeah, but according to this, we're saving English football.
