From a business perspective I 100% get it but from a moral and ethical position they have got this 100% wrong , very fuckign wrong.
We were doing just fine - this decision has fuckall to do with financial survival .

Bearing in mind how cramped our schedule is at the moment - the City statement about City "continuing to compete in their respective national leagues, preserving the traditional domestic match calendar which remains at the heart of the club game." is a joke, and an empty hollow phrase.
They simply can't fulfill their current domestic schedule (including cups) while taking part in the Super League without treating 'something' (probably the League Cup, maybe the FA Cup as well) as an annoying inconvenience at best, or withdrawing from the competition(s) at worst.

Agree 100%
The Super League is a soulless, deprived league to protect the super rich. I want nothing to do with it and I'll be genuinly dissapointed if it comes to fruition. Im not a fucking "consumer". I am a footy fan celebrating more than just our club but the tradition as well.

We're instantly in the backwaters if we don't agree. I don't like it but from the owners point of view - they had no option.

You always have an option, but it is always preferable to choose the least worst one, which our owners have done. I'm guessing there was little in the way of wailing and gnashing of teeth though - seems to have been a straightforward choice - both sides hate us we just pick the one with the most power.

they could have resisted and been hailed as heros
they didn’t so fuck them. no better than those cunts over at the swamp.
Not your call, nor mine - their decision to climb aboard the gravy train but there are no heroes in any of this.Nigels Tackle wrote:johnny crossan wrote:ross.mcfc wrote:carl_feedthegoat wrote:From a business perspective I 100% get it but from a moral and ethical position they have got this 100% wrong , very fuckign wrong.Wonderwall wrote:We were the last team to agree to it.
