I'd like to hear what they have got to say for themselves first.

It’ll soon be time for one of Khaldoon’s end of season interviews - where he states the obvious and promises fantastic signings and then brings in Benjamin Mendy. Yet people hang on every word he says because “he looks so classy”

We were the last team to agree to it. You can understand why they have done it. I don't agree with it but I understand why they did it.

From a business perspective I 100% get it but from a moral and ethical position they have got this 100% wrong , very fuckign wrong.

We were doing just fine - this decision has fuckall to do with financial survival .

Let's not jump to anything yet.
For me all smoke and mirrors so far.

Let's wait.

We're instantly in the backwaters if we don't agree. I don't like it but from the owners point of view - they had no option.

We are strong enough to fight this shit. Have been doing it for years, we may have even gotten uefa on our side and finally gotten a fair shake in cl. Instead we bottled it.

If City reach the final of the Champion's League this season it will be 13 CL matches - the Super League involvement means between 18 (minimum) and 25 games for City in the future.
Bearing in mind how cramped our schedule is at the moment - the City statement about City "continuing to compete in their respective national leagues, preserving the traditional domestic match calendar which remains at the heart of the club game." is a joke, and an empty hollow phrase.
They simply can't fulfill their current domestic schedule (including cups) while taking part in the Super League without treating 'something' (probably the League Cup, maybe the FA Cup as well) as an annoying inconvenience at best, or withdrawing from the competition(s) at worst.

If we’re allowed to get to the final I’ll be massively surprised. PSG have played a blinder. They’ll go through, without question. And if I was Uefa, I’d do the same.

Agree 100%

The Super League is a soulless, deprived league to protect the super rich. I want nothing to do with it and I'll be genuinly dissapointed if it comes to fruition. Im not a fucking "consumer". I am a footy fan celebrating more than just our club but the tradition as well.

We knew it was coming, now its here its WTF. To think the clubs that have at every turn stabbed us in the back, are now our partners is not right. Massive mistake. As for the SCUM THE MURDERERS BARCA ANR MADRID.
THIS HAS SAVED THERE IN DEBT UPTO THERE ARSES IMHO. Why oh why we have helped them is beyond me. Fucking Arsenal its a JOKE.

I'm not one of those fans who could support another team if I walk away(Which I will do ) from supporting Man City and even if we do a scum and create another Manchester team I still couldn't go out and be passionate about it.

At least this took away my depression from losing against Chelsea...now that feelings fuckign nuclear.

We're instantly in the backwaters if we don't agree. I don't like it but from the owners point of view - they had no option.

You always have an option, but it is always preferable to choose the least worst one, which our owners have done. I'm guessing there was little in the way of wailing and gnashing of teeth though - seems to have been a straightforward choice - both sides hate us we just pick the one with the most power.

Not your call, nor mine - their decision to climb aboard the gravy train but there are no heroes in any of this.

They’ve not invested shitloads to duke out the title with West Ham - they wanna be inside the tent kissing out basically - I don’t like the esl but understand why they have elected to join it
