I don't like this ESL one bit, but it's very hard just to switch off and ignore 100%.

I will still watch the game Wednesday, but with a soured taste.

I get the distinct impression NT you are feeling a little betrayed and disheartened.

Starts Wednesday followed by a cup final at the weekend. Regardless of the announcement yesterday, I for one will be cheering the boys on as usual for the remainder of the season. I totally get a lot of fans are incredibly disappointed, upset, feel disenfranchised and disgusted with the actions of the club and will see things in a different way to myself. That will always be the case and is normal and natural for supporters to disagree.

But for me, this is just another day. One with a big surprise attached to it and an unpalatable one at that, but ultimately it’s an off field issue which hopefully won’t affect the players in training too much. They will want to win games to ensure the season finishes as strongly as possible and that we are as successful as can be. That hasn’t changed for me either

If we do not U turn and apologize to us fans then I couldn’t give a rats arse about what we do or don’t win this season .

I am more worried if the players are still connected to this after what happened. With good, with bad, they fought their arse off to reach the semis of the UCL.

it’s beyond shit
i have lost all respect for our owners
they seemed to kind of get it but siding with the cunts who have been after us for the last decade is unforgivable
i am desperately hoping for a u turn but can’t see one coming. if they press ahead with this plan, i will stop supporting anything to do with the club. it’s been stolen from us and that’s heartbreaking.

It’s very bad but comparing this to the rise of Nazi germany is insulting to those that lost their lives and just stupid

Would love to know how the players feel about this. Doubt any of them had any clue this was coming and they must be feeling pretty conflicted right now.

Klopp says he and his players weren't consulted - I have to assume Pep and his players weren't either - considering I KNOW City's fans weren't.

Foden with a full international career ahead of him now might never play for England again but if he isnt playing for an ESL team he wont earn half as much as he will at his childhood team. KDB could win Euros and WC in the next few years but again who else would pay him £300k+ a week plus stupid bonuses. Even PEP has made it clear how much he wanted to win the CL with City. He still might this year but how tarnished will that be?

Having looked with dismay at the shambles our club has put itself in, i couldnt care less about the rest of the season, i thought our owners were better than this. My club which ive supported for 50yrs has been tarnished and if this goes ahead i will walk away,

They can always join Villa and play against Celtic in the Champions League every year.

A lot will be feeling the same - the poor lass in your profile pic will be able to get a rest though.
