Wasn’t sure I was going to do this, but life goes on and I was curious what the Villa fans were thinking. Turns out not much. I don’t know what we are playing for now, and what we will end up with – will the PL allow us to win the league? So it’s even more intriguing to think about who will Pep play?

COME ON CITY!!!

Referee: Peter Bankes
Assistants: Neil Davies, Harry Lennard
Fourth official: Anthony Taylor
VAR: Jarred Gillett
Assistant VAR: Stephen Child

Team Selection

Martinez
Cash
Konsa
Mings
Targett
Nakamba
Luiz McGinn
Traore
El Ghazi
Watkins

And the rest…

I have never been more certain of a defeat than this game.

Haven’t bothered to check but I’m pretty confident there will be a similar comment somewhere on a Leeds forum this time last week and look what happened, you never know. But the eyeore approach is very Villa, so let’s throw in the towel now.

It doesn't matter if the fans "throw in the towel". We aren't the ones playing the game and won't be there to support the team…This is going to be a routine win for Man City at best…Our season is over. We won't be seeing Jack again and Europe is long gone so I am finding it very, very difficult to give two s***s about this game…0-3.

I can see a loss coming unfortunately but let’s hope I’m wrong.

Might not even bother watching this game…Know the outcome. Know we won't have more than 15-20 % of the ball. Players are at the beach.

Sterling's going to score a hat trick isn't he? Hilariously bad touch and finishing today…Annoyed they rested Mahrez as we always struggle to contain him so he'll be fresh and probably score at least once.

Football has just died…This game just become very meaningless all of a sudden.

yeah couldn't care less about this match now.

Will now be boycotting this due to who it is against.

The whole of the premier league will be supporting Villa tomorrow. we have to destory them 7-2 at least.

All feels a bit empty this now to me. And it's not just because its against Man City, just my feeling in general.

P.s. The ESL hasn't happened just yet and meanwhile we've still got a season to finish, I still care about us finishing in the top ten! Go on team, you can do it!

Cheers as usual CM

Interesting they don’t think Grealish will play for them again. Let’s just get a win, only old how, to get us back on track
