Watching the Final in Manchester

Looking for a bit of help on finding a venue to watch the final in Manchester.

Me and my Dad have been going to games for 30+ years now and I always imagined me and him would go to the final together. Tickets or not. The group of guys we’ve been going to the games with over that period will all have got a ticket under normal circumstances. I would have wanted to at least be part of it. It’s not to be this time.

I usually drink in The Castle Hotel in Northern Quarter or Cask on the Canal Tow Path before games, but I reckon neither are ideal for watching the game.

I don’t want to go outside the stadium to watch the game. Nor do I want to be in any fan park in the city center.

I appreciate its early days but if anyone has any suggestions of where we can go that will be all City fans that I can book a table it would be appreciated. I'm not 100% on the rules for pubs in England so I'd imagine I'm best booking something in advance. I’m happy to pay a fee to get in a place for the day.

I’m sure there are loads of Blues thinking of coming back to Manchester so even if you can’t think of anywhere that is organizing anything today. Bump it in this thread as and when you hear anything.

Cheers!

Imagine that this will get quite busy. Doubt i will be in Istanbul unless the quarantine is lifted for coming back.

Failing that, will be watching it at our usual local club in monton with 50 other blues
Town (Manchester) will be hit and miss. All the boozers will have it on. Check out the Waldorf near piccadilly station as there is a supporters club that meet in there.

Open the fucking World up again!

Am struggling to find somewhere to watch Saturday with my lad. Only couple places round skipton with a screen outside and the 'close' when the weather is bad. We're hardened to this shit in the Dales!

Try the Ralph Abercromby on Bootle Street. Landlord has installed 4 big tellies outside and put them under a couple of big marquees to keep the rain off. There's outside seating for about 120 so if you get there early enough you'll get a seat. Also they have a german sausage stand on the go.

Manchester will be full of rags trying to piss on our parade. If you can handle them if we lose then you’re alright. I couldn’t.

Abercrombie is hard core rag central , best avoided at all times !
Northern Quarter and around Piccadilly Station area MCFC fans drinking establishments .

hope they are weather proof tv's.... health and safety issues if not..... can't just use bog standard large screens..... sealed outdoor units cost about £5k for a 60inch inc installation...

Indoor bookings are already available mate so I'd have a look - I'm guessing most places will be full. My rag mates have already booked Bierkeller for their tinpot final.
