Friday night football is actually not a bad way to end the week (maybe I’m just so relaxed about this?). A few beers after work and then settle in for the game. As usual with the barcodes the game thread descends into a discussion about their owner. I understand that, and I feel sorry for them. The fact that they are safe makes me think they might not really care what we do to them!

COME ON CITY!!!

Referee: Kevin Friend
Assistants: Simon Beck, Adrian Holmes
Fourth official: Lee Mason
VAR: Darren England
Assistant VAR: Harry Lennard

Team Selection

------------------ASM--------------
------------Almiron---Willock-------
Ritchie--Longstaff--Longstaff---Murphy
------Dummett-Clark-Fernandez-----
-----------------Dubravka-----------------

And the rest…

Loss

We will get humped. With city having nothing to play for they will play their strongest side and absolutely won’t rest players.

**** off Citeh.

I'm not gonna predict any more games for us this season, because you just never know at the moment. We'll probably end up beating city 5-0, and losing 6-1 to Shef UTD.

Actually, seeing as how we're safe, why shouldn't we just start experimenting with the line up a bit?

City need to win this game to ensure they win the league so no 2nd team against us. If we defend as we did at Leicester in the 2nd half a thumping is on the cards. Thankfully with Fulham being relegated it won't matter to us.

Wilson missing the last 3 games. We're ****ed

We're mathematically safe, give 1 of the under 23s a go. We already know how **** Joelinton/Gayle/Carroll are.

There we go, all sorted - Man City now Champions

Watch them play their u23s and destroy us

Will the Man City players be giving our players a Guard of Honour as they walk out on Friday night, to recognize their achievement of avoiding relegation under Steve Bruce… Be a nice touch.

It is truly ironic that these two could manage in the same league.

That one did make me chuckle.

As an aside though, are Newcastle going to give us a guard of honour does anyone know?

Apologies for being a bit off topic but I think it would be nice touch at the final game if;....

Our 1st team squad came out and gave a guard of honour to our EDS and U18s squads, both squads, with their trophies, then forming a larger guard of honour for the !st team.

It would hopefully be televised, the media would have to comment and the World would see that we had won all three league titles. Never been achieved before.

Sheer marketing genius.

A geordie mate said a guard of honour by the Newcastle players would be wrong and break social distancing rules.
I told him to look how far apart the two teams were in the league table.....Nuff said.
