Harry Kane has again told Tottenham he wants to leave this summer.

Spurs are now making inquiries about replacement center-forwards, in the first indication that the club is willing to consider the feelings of their 27-year-old talisman.

They do not want to sell their prized asset, but Manchester United, Manchester City, and Chelsea have all been in touch with Kane's representatives CK66 expressing a desire to sign the England international.

I think it's simple, we wanted Haaland, we couldn't afford Haaland with those numbers so Kane is plan B.

Kane with Delap and Jesus.
I think it will be ok if that happens.

Not excited in any way, but we need someone.

His injury record is a concern, can you imagine what he’ll be like once our lot get hold of him?

I'd say yes - but only if it's him and Son as a straight swap for Gabby & Razza......can't see Levy falling for that, though.

I think the question is this: would you want Kane, Lukaku or Martinez?
Because might get one of them.

Yes or no depends on a whole host of variables

Would Spurs sell him to a PL rival? Or is PSG for example a more likely destination to team up with Poch again to replace Mbappe?

Levy is very likely to want in excess of £100m given Kane signed a long term deal not that long ago. Unless Spurs’ financial situation is really poor due to the pandemic and missing out on CL football again. Would we pay that? I suspect not. And is Kane 28? Not much resale value there, whereas if we spent big on Haaland or Mbappe then at least there is potential resale value due to their ages.

Can’t see him moving myself. Doubt he’d be that much of a cunt to go to Chelsea given they are big rivals to Spuds. Dippers couldn’t afford him. Can’t see us paying the fees likely required. Which leaves the rags. Would they spend £100m+ on him? Maybe it would be a way for the Glazers to win back the fans. Would he go abroad? He barely speaks English and comes across as really thick so would he adapt to life abroad? I’d guess not.

Unless it was a really low deal I’d say no. Age, ankle concerns, lack of tracking back all against him. But he does score goals, but I think we want more than just that. The false nine has worked perfectly for us this season. I would however consider a swap deal for Sterling to be truthful if that was on the cards.

But all in all, I think he is still a Spurs player come the start of next season

I reckon he's doing a Messi playing hard ball with Levy and if he isn't then no is the straight answer from me.

Too old
Too many injuries which will get more frequent

Unless Levy drops the price drastically, we won't pay what he wants.

Wants £150M iirc? He can do one for that. I wouldn't pay more than £60m at this juncture

Spuds are desperate for cash from what I've heard yet Levy over valuing as per usual.
