Thanks, Harry. That's really useful. For example, I have found out we (I'm English) are in the same group as Scotland. Lovely.

Don't care about it much because:
a) this Euro tour shite is piss poor if you ask me, the charm of a competition is having one host. Maybe two.
b) my national team being beyond shite for 20 years now. Actually playing England on Sunday will mean, most probably, you lot will beat us for the first time in over 50-60 years. If I am not mistaken, you last time won vs us in Mexico in 1970.
c) I am more excited about the Olympics.

I totally agree with a). And sort of with b). Sweden has overperformed over the last tournaments, but we are seriously crap at the moment, so can't see us do much this tournament. Totally disagree with c). Don't really give a fuck about clay shooting, skate boarding, archery, canoeing, rowing, sailing, decathlon, or the shot put, to be honest.

The rest will be odd, maybe the basketball competition will provide some kicks.

I'll be interested to see how Southgate fucks up a squad that on paper is rather exciting.

Aren't they being pulled again?
Lost all interest in international football since we made it to the big time and all the squad is away. That said, taking the youngest out to get an England 20 Foden shirt and Spain 11 Ferran top this weekend

Aren't they being pulled again?

Far from it.

A whopping 0.59% of the nation have received both doses of the vaccine so far* in the four months the vaccination programme (!) has been running. So obviously that’s definitely sufficient to allow hundreds of thousands of people from every country in the world into the city.

Anyway, I hope the City lads enjoy themselves, play well and avoid any "Crudiger" type incidents.

I think I've heard that the only spectators of the Olympics were people living in Japan and who are vaccinated, no traveling fans?

No, you heard right. They haven't decided about local fans yet. But seeing as 0.59% of people are fully vaccinated...

It is the sponsors and media and general hangers on (IOC and UEFA style) that worry me. I swear after the last 15 months of observing the lockdown, I will completely lose my shit if I see some knobhead journalist with no mask pontifcating and strolling round like he owns the fucking place.

Note to any journalists dropping in here. When not at the venues, stay in your fucking hotels. Tokyo is not a fucking holiday camp.
