First of three parts on City site.

Despite Peps brain fart Saudi, watching Kaldoon speak about the next 3 years, the next 5 years, kind of lifts spirits somewhat.

Not about quantity bit couple quality signings in key areas makes me feel we have a couple surprises coming.

Get them done early and all is good.

A quality replacement for Sergio promised and another for an unspecified position. LB? DM?

He’s a better dressed Garry Cook. Although, listening to Gallaghers interview recently, I genuinely think Cook did a lot more for the club.

First time I have not and will not listen to his speech.
This whole CL fuck up by baldie is being swept under the carpet - if Baldie continues saying he made the right choices then the owners need to decide if domestic trophies are good enough for continuing paying him 20 million pounds a year.

What I've noticed is how old he has become. Gray hair all over, I think half of it is from this year.

Kaldoon, mmm hope he had a word in Peps ear about his performance last Saturday night. 99.999% of bosses would have.
Anyway Mr Kaldoon we have two absolute drop-dead priorities this season.
A striker and a holding midfielder.

Can you imagine, he'll get him a 100- 150m striker only for Pep to drop him in a champions League final for tactical reasons.

I am fairly sure words have been said to Pep, but that in my opinion is a private matter between the Chairman and the manager, I have never called out a member of staff in front of others, a quiet word in the office is far more effective.

I am sure Mr Khaldoon has sat down with Pep, his coaches and told Tixi who he needs to buy, but I don't expect any early signings, which is fine as long as they are the right ones.

Cue Harry fuckin Kane to get golden boot in Euros and up at ours, I really hope not

Not sure I understand what people expect from the annual statement.
He's doing and saying what he's supposed to say and do what all CEOs of all companies do.
It's what nis expected of him and what he does well for the audience he's targeting.

All is well, everything is cool, it's been a great season, 2 more senior trophies, our youth teams winning their leagues makes it a clean sweep and making the CL Final is a great achievement and further than we'veever been before.

Financially we lost a bundle because of Covid and lockdowns but those figures will reflect better when a number of late deals are added to the figures next year.

He neglected to mention several contracts that have been finalised, including the one to exterminate Carl for what he's posted on here and the agreed pre contract for Big Fat Sam as the next manager after Pep.

I think you meant Pardew, pal.
Last time I've heard he was getting drunk in Sofia.

Hi John.

An annual statement will always be about the financial issues, as per other clubs, but ours at least get the personal touch, warts and all.

Such professionalism. It’s hard to comprehend we have a political A1 at the head of our club, although understandable.

Those of you who haven’t seen them yet, it’s a good watch, especially the 2nd one where he talks about the ESL, disrupting other clubs and being competitive and aggressive.

Have still only managed to visit here for any news. It will be some time before i can bear watching anything. About time we got disruptive - I'm all over that as a way forward though our quiet, effective success has been fun the sheer gloating from the rag hordes of watch 'em on the telly is starting to piss me right off
