What an absolute fucking shambles.
A year deferral? Really ? What the actual fuck ?
Not a chance of full capacity with ongoing covid measures but pay up in full or fuck off . Loads on phone to club for 3 hours or more today and still no joy .

Absolute fucking shambles from MCFC

Any chance they can discount my season ticket if I leave 10 minutes before the end of every match?

My old man was asking me earlier if he should renew and we share the seat... Is it really this dicey?

I have renewed but so many issues unclear. Attendance numbers , balloting bullshit , the deferral situation and refunds on a game to game basis

I think some sort of vaccination passport will come into effect dron5 mid-July. Everyone fully cvaccinated + 2 weeks will have access to events like football without restrictions.

That's what wembley are doing for the Euros. Those without both vaccines are being asked for a negative test within 48 hours of the games

They have introduced a form to fill in online and they will call you back. If you defer, your seat will be sold on a match by match basis next season and you can presumably have it back for the one after.

Saw on the City website that there isn't a guarantee that you'll get your old seats back for the following season.

Cheers, hadn't seen that. I guess the club are probably responding to feedback they've received about the renewal process, which seemed to be pretty ill thought-out from the beginning.

So now we have reached the stage where many fans are in turmoil over the renewal / deferral / dd and new terms and conditions process . Nobody answering any phone calls at the club just a supporters services account on social media , in the current situation this is just totally unacceptable from the club , get more staff answering the phones and replying to emails or extend the window !!! Diabolical situation for sure .

You make a good point around the extra staffing for query resolution and also the (very) limited time between the renewal window opening to get answers. That said, seems straightforward enough do you want to renew or defer if you defer you risk relocation afterwards if someone has taken your seat wirh no guarantee that you will be able to get another seat. Renew and if the attendance is reduced, face a ballot where if you dont get a place, you will be reimbursed. Ive not read anything other than the email i was sent and pay by DD. it's a yes for me and we will see where that leads. I'm fortunate to have the money spare others maybe not so much but not a lot the club can do with the messages coming from Gov't being so poor. I guarantee one thing though all the deferrals will want a chumps league final ticket....
