Pathetic that footballers are given these when you’ve got Joe Bloggs that works their hands to the bone all their lives for various charities and gets nothing.

Congrats to Raheem.

Should he not refuse this award, you know MBE is reference to the evil British Empire = colonialism = racism, better keep away from Bristol Raheem, you will end up in the Avon

Is it wrong to be wondering what he’s done to deserve one?

Well done Raheem and, even though I don’t agree with awards like this, you have done a fair bit to promote the cause and fight against discrimination.

They can't give a united player one then a City player one, and not give a dipper one. There'll be very high-pitched whining across merseyside and beyond.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

A lad in the year below me at school got an MBE. Nick Abbot. Done a lot for his local community and raised shed loads for the Salford jam butty camp for underprivileged kids.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Still can't get over the commentator's insane arse-licking of Rashford when he came on......bit like the 2nd coming...

It was like the king had walked on the field, it was so sycophantic. And then proceeded to do absolutely nothing.

He is. I don't know him personally but knew him by sight as his Sister was in my year and he's on the school Facebook group.

Another girl that I know from their year was diagnosed with breast cancer and kept commenting how Paloma Faith's music was keeping her spirits up. He must have some good contacts because next thing is an album with a signed personalised message from her and some other stuff turns up on her doorstep courtesy of Nick. Fortunately, she's come through it.
