That's a fairly hard start. Spurs, Arse, Leicester, Liverpool all in the first 7 games...

Spurs away, Arse home, Leicester away, Chelsea away and Liverpool away in the 1st 7 games.
We actually got 4 wins from those 5 corresponding games last year.
Just need to break the duck at the new Tottenham ground. What's the odds on Harry scoring the winner for us there.

Obviously the dates have to be fixed but chavs and murder merchants both away immediately after the 3rd round in the man city cup, that looks tricky..

Edit.
Our last 6 league games look very winnable .

Fucking jokers these people. When was the last time defending champions were drawn away first out?
I know we have to play everyone twice but the first the opening seven or so look weighted against us. Not checked chumps league group games but scouse and Chelsea away will be around them i guess? A visit to the new Brentford stadium over xmas will be good but no doubt that will be moved to an evening kick off and is followed by Arse away on new year. Been royally shafted here - bring it on

That's our 5th consecutive season of playing the first game away - so quite regularly considering we've been champions in three of them!

Must admit that i could not be arsed to check, just didn't remember us being at home much. Regardless, we are not going to be sble to be st Spurs so i guess it makes no odds. Can see us missing out on Brentford as well as doubt away fans will be allowed this side of New Year - if at all

I can guarantee that if we are in with a good shout of the title with 6/7 games to go, the knobhead fans of whoever is challenging will completely forget our difficult start and just say the fixtures are a joke with our good run in.

Fuck em all. Let's get off to a great start please pep, none of this bottom half after 10 games nonsense.

^^^^^^^^

I think it is unfair to reflect on last seasons start and refer to mid table positions. We were games behind all the way into November and December.

Whilst Conrad Pooh was bitching and moaning about having to play the odd extra midweek game, it was two a week every week for City, pretty much from
September until April .

The Leicester result didn't make sense and i still believe it was a fix, three very dubious penalties ( one good goal though). like Martial throwing himself to the floor.

If we come through the first games , iirc , in October they start using different footballs , when we meet Chavs and Scouse2 .

I don't trust the PL, FA, Pigmol and VAR - However, if you try to play football , you will always win in the end.

We’ve also agreed to play Pep’s favourite team in that stupid cup at some point in August.

I wonder if Pep will complain about the fixture pile up this season..

I agree on charity games like the next one, but why are we playing with Barcelona on 19th august and complicate our schedule? What is the point of that?
Play it in July ffs.
