Sterling staying or leaving?

Ok, no words about from the board, just between the fans.

Do you want him here next season or you want him out?

You know my response.

I haven't seen him have a decent game for months. Definitely looks, for his sake and ours, that he needs to be moved on.

I personally think it’s the right time to cash in on him (Bacon chops knew when it was the right time to get rid - Beckham, Stam etc) and I think it’s that time for Raheem.

I think it’ll do him well to get out of England. He’s had nothing but abuse from the media and opposition fans for years. Spain or Italy and he’ll probably do very well in either country.

It’s as though he has completely lost confidence once his guaranteed starting spot came under threat. A couple of seasons ago he was saying how much he’d learned from Pep about body position and getting set for shooting. Seems he has just reverted to type. Looks awkward on the ball and makes bad decisions too many times. Frustrating as hell because he was maybe the best player we had for a while.

Also, he went to shit when Arteta left. On the Amazon doc it showed Arteta doing a lot of mental work with Sterling. I wonder if he’s got anyone at the club that helps him with that now?

I don't think Italy can help him. He will get more abuse.
Spain or even Paris will do.

He doesn’t seem like someone that would be capable of learning another language, so he probably wouldn’t understand the Italians.

Can see him struggling abroad. Seems to be a bit of a home bird but don't see anyone here paying him top dollar. Maybe arsenal but they dont have anyone we would want

I'd have Saka in a heartbeat or their Scottish left back whatever his name is, was it Thwatinery or something?

Sterling's first touch is awful, he can't cross or whip in dangerous balls. Time to cash in

I'd keep him. You wouldn't get enough money for him now to replace him. He has been a 30 goals in a season player in the past and I think he can recapture that form, Stones-like. It may only need one incident, one passage of play, to set him going again.

I am a bit more forgiving that most of you lot, it seems.

Who would you replace him with, and I mean proper, serious, named suggestions not just "any fucker is better than him" because that is horse shit.

To be fair, italians can't understand each other, what can we expect from a foreigner?

I will go with any fucker is better than him ... AT THE MOMENT.
Semi joke aside, Don't know, Ferran was not a home run like we hoped, he is either fantastic or beyond shite. We also had Nolito.

Maybe we are shit at picking wingers?
I think we need someone who is not predictable like Sterling or even Sane are.

Well, who? I have watched a bit of the Euros and who is there? I've not seen anyone that stands out but if you have, please tell me. Are they available? And do they fit our system? And can we afford them? Cos every cunt is going to be asking stupid prices.

All of them are, at least when City is involved.
I can't tell you who because I don't like anyone in the league that can fit here, however, looked at Ruby and how he came out of nowhere.
I was thinking yesterday at Lemar, how much Atletico paid for him and what a flop he turned out to be.

We should sell him whilst we still can - He will be abused in Italy and 10000% in Spain where anyone that has a bad game gets abuse..even Ronaldo got abuse so can you imagine tiny tears carrying on his shite performances hes given us over there ?

Thats not our problem though...we sell him now...even with no replacement...sell him.

I can't believe the club don't know this, and they must have tried to replace Arteta's input, but it isn't working.
When Arteta gets the push from the Arse, City should pay him consultancy fees for mental motivation.

I’d also be happy to see Jesus play off the wing more if we sold Sterling.

That is an excellent point, Jesus might not be the answer to our striker issue, but he has other attributes, works hard, presses and would be useful on the wing.
