Robin Gosens to City

Some time back in May the club was monitoring his progress amid interest from Barcelona too. Is City still in the race to sign him? With a market value of around £35-40M I believe he's an absolute bargain and Atalanta won't be a pain to deal with too. He would be the perfect left back to replace Mendy, contribute in both midfield and attack (11 goals last season in Serie A). His performance in the Euros were also outstanding, considering the weaker German side this year.
Would he be a good fit for City, what do you guys think?

I thought bar one game in the euros he did nothing. He doesnt look technically good enough to play for us and would stick out like a sore thumb. Granted its based on limited viewing and anything sees mendy never play for us im in favor of.

I dont think he would offer us anymore than the free signing of ryan bertrand or patrick van aanholt would if im honest.
