I dont get it - even if the other clubs help to pay his wages Barca are still over the wage cap. How would that solve anything?

Barca and Real are still 2 of the clubs who have to pay back 'state aid' aren't they as well as being 1 billion in debt? The Fat Slug just throws out random shit - worse than my missus watching last night's match - and is pretty unpopular in Spain as well as here.

The state aid repayment is paltry, though: around €5 million, I think. They've saved half that amount in Messi's wages while he's been off their books this past couple of weeks.
