To be fair tonight there have been three or four occasions where the defender has got an amazing block in when the keeper is beat.

To be fair, that’s nothing to do with missed chances mate. We’ve had 16 shots tonight and only 6 on target. For the standard of some of our players, 10 off target shots is pretty awful.

If Haaland was playing tonight we’d have been 3-0 up by halftime. As a fan it’s okay to want to improve.

Haaland ? based on what ? Many of those chances were difficult. Even Gündo's strike against the post.

Haaland seems to be good around the six yard box. We don't play that way .

When they play such low bloc’s that they have, it’s always going to be very difficult to get through.

Every week , two times a week , we play against teams that pack 10 or 11 in the box. I'd like to know how some smart arse fan can explain how you get through such defending to actually get a clean chance on goal ????

most of our chances are so-called "half chances" ( except Sterling  ).

Pretty sure the 10 "off target" includes the ones blocked off target by defenders, which were probably "on target" before the block...

I’d imagine so. If we take Mahrez’s top corner chance for example - great defending. But the others were literally hit at a PSG player…

Great passing though.
And therin lies the question if we have a mbappe haaland type upfront does that take from our possession play.

Just looked at the CL groups Bayern have scored 19. We have scored 17 so far. That's not bad to me. Thinking we're making a bit much of it.

Barcelona have scored 2.

Bayern are the only ones who have scored more.
Liverpool with the best front 3 in the world ever according to their deluded fans have scored 15, PSG with their superstars have scored 9.

I don't think it's about the idea we don't score much. It's more about we miss equally the same.

You can say that about any team, striker or not.
Look at PSG last night, Mbappe skied one over in the 1st half and Neymar missed a sitter in the 2nd.
I was at the game so i've not seen it back but I can't remember any sitters missed by us. Gundo hit the post, the Mahrez shot was going in and they deflected it over and the keeper made a couple of great saves.

That’s the question, will it effect it negatively in other areas. We had Sergio doing it and it worked well. But he had to completely change his game.

That's for sure :) Any team can show the same boring soccer, and maybe even bright. Who can predict it 100%, he will be a millionaire :)

PL results in December so far:
P 5, W 5, goals for 17, goals against 2.
Bet the other teams are glad we're shit at finishing the chances we create! Get that striker signed ASAP...
