i don’t think i’ve ever hated a city player as much as him.
an absolute cunt who is stealing a living from us.

He doesn't pick himself though. The blame for him being part of our squad and sadly, the playing XI, lies elsewhere

I can only think of Nigel Clough that I’ve genuinely hated since supporting City. Mendy - I hope he falls off a very tall cliff.

One positive was Grealish. Good debut. Gundogan played well too.

According to 64 Pep knows what he’s doing and has won more than any of you so if he picks Mendy then he knows best. Alright?!

We can't sell him. Everyone needs to let that sink in and accept it.

He is going nowhere at least until next season as he has 2 years left (this year and next I believe) and is on massive wages from when we first signed him (I think over 100k/week).

WE COULD find a club to take him on loan next season but we're going to pay more than 1/2 his wages I suspect.

Think Mangala, but maybe even worse.

Offers nothing. Gives the ball away cheaply in the wrong areas leaving us wide open to the counter. Doesn't have the pace to recover. When he does finally catch the play up he doesn't affect anything. He also puts the shitters up our own players that have to play next to him. Ake had a decent match but you could tell he was on edge constantly because of Mendy.

When was the last time he genuinely had a good game? Is it his fault or peps? Surely pep has got to shoulder a lot of blame. How many of our losses last season did he start, i think its a big percentage from memory.

We could have picked up a freebie in the summer to buy us a year thats infinitely better than mendy, any of bertrand/rose/van aanholt would do a better job for a year.

It’s infuriating. Id rather we didnt bother with kane, kept the likes of bernardo and jesus and got an actual left back in.

Id have zinchenko/ake/laporte/cancelo at left back all before Mendy, i honestly thought last year we would never see him in a city shirt again. Then towards the end I thought we were playing him in the duds to give him a shot at another club. Now i dont have a clue what the hell we are doing!
