Offers nothing. Gives the ball away cheaply in the wrong areas leaving us wide open to the counter. Doesn't have the pace to recover. When he does finally catch the play up he doesn't affect anything. He doesn't close down and he can't tackle so I'd like to ask Pep what footballing attributes, defensive or otherwise, he feels that Mendy offers the team.

That's pretty much accurate.

World class..
At polishing the medals others won for him, that is.
He is so bad, I actually think we would be better with 10 men than that fool in the team. And I am being serious.
Man of the match yesterday, for spurs, set up some great counters for them.

Fuck me how long is the left back problem going on now.

So we sold Angelino and kept this lump. Sure, it was a mistake, but I refuse to accept there is not EDS, no 17-18 old to play instead of him.
Fucking anyone, get a steward on at this point.

He is going nowhere. 2 years left on his contract he will be quite happy to sit it out as no way anyone will cover his wages
Its on Pep playing him and not having a viable alternative - no excuses for a piss-poor situation

The Angelino re-signing and then selling is a strange one.

Pep created reasonably good left backs out of Delph and Zinchenko. Neither were spectacular but both were able to slot into our side well enough.

I don't know why we could not have done that with Angelino. He's clearly not world class but after leaving us he moved to very good side in RB Leipzig and has played well since joining.

Considering Mendy is abysmal, it made far more sense for Pep to focus on Angelino and get rid of Mendy.

That's another thing.
But the fact that professional footballer can be in that shape technically, mentally and physically regardless of who is in charge is completely unacceptable.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I’ve seen people in better physical condition in Wetherspoons Wigan town centre 8am in the morning.

But why doesn't he start? Showed himself to be a team leader during the euros. As much as I liked Mendy when he first arrived I have to admit he has lost something post injury.

Zincs and Mandy are mistakes waiting to happen
Mendy offers nothing Pep. Time to accept it and sort it out once and for all. Zincs gets found out we all know it

So is the Premier league and CL final goal was him not being switched on . Just being honest, if we had a 25 yr old Kolarov he is at Wolves you know it and the top teams would never be in for him. I like him but along with Mongy they are below the level of Dias which means more cover more work and in the end we get done.

I think Walker makes more mistakes than Zinch, but Walker’s pace gets him out of trouble nine times out of ten

Mendy starts by thinking he is a Race Horse.

Then he is fucked and starts blowing out of his Arse. And staggering all over.

Starts losing the Ball.

Then starts trying to hide in midfield.

Has literally no situational awareness.

And Pep sits there for over 70 = minutes doing fuck all, because he will not admit he got it wrong. Ego feeding is more important than doing the right thing. One thing i really detest about Pep his inability to admit he is human ,and makes mistakes for the greater good in real time.

I have said this before, but most championship fans would be fucking annoyed if Mendy signed for them, he is a fucking fake adds nothing to any team and is a liability and passenger at his best.

Walker is not perfect who is Big difference is he has presence and a physicality that the other two lack plus they both get targeted. Should have had a LB in for 2 years at least. I’m not panicking we are where we are onwards TOGETHER!

As much as I admire and like the zinch, reality is he is not really the answer.
Grand for average to lower PL sides, straightforward cup games etc where we will get away with it. But in the more difficult games he is a worry.

It's not at all good that this left back situation is not being resolved.
