Has sadly passed away aged 81

Probably England’s greatest ever striker. His goal scoring record was just phenomenal. A cracking pundit as well, loved Saint and Greavsie as a young lad.

Terribly sad news. RIP

I was too late to see him play live. Great striker by all accounts and funny as fuck on saint & greavsie . RIP may give spuds a kick up the arse for todays game

Watched Jimmy & Alan Gilzean regularly in my student days in the smoke, digs just around the corner from the Lane. Fantastic player.
