I’ve enjoyed his time with us but his form has been poor for so long I think it’s time for a change.

He was poor for large parts of 19/20, poor for all of 20/21 and poor so far this season.

He’s clearly talented and has had lots of great moments for us. He’s still producing great performances for England.

But he’s been given plenty of chances to deliver for us and unfortunately he rarely takes them anymore. There’s nothing wrong with us going our separate ways. He’s done lots of great things for us and he’ll be remembered fondly.

The main issue we have is who could buy him. Most clubs in Europe are skint. We need to be open to letting him go to a rival in England if there was interest.

Sterling will not travel to San Marino after departing the England camp to deal with a personal issue.....

If it is on the table take it.
Avoid a Pogba type situation where he will probably leave for nothing surrounded by an 18 month circus.

He can fuck off and 50 million is a “grab it now “ opportunity for a player who just cannot play well for us .

Will not be missed at all
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Agree, he had a couple of very good seasons but has dropped below the required level. Can never be faulted for effort and does not go missing.

A loan deal and 50mill is to good to pass on if its true. I do fear for him with the Barca fans and Spanish press though.

Oh JC you do like a conspiracy/City related drama..... if I get you in the secret santa you are SO getting a calculator because 2 + 2 really does = 4.

Probably summat similar to when Nathan was given time out to see his father iirc was terminally ill? Either way England are through so even if he's off to his aunties 50th birthday, I don't care.

That said £50m even if payment defered for 12/18 I wouldn't walk away assuming the Spaniards don't go belly up and we get nowt cash.

Barca on loan then to buy would work for everyone. I bet Sterling would like to have a go at sorting out their racism issues over there. He’d do alright in Spain too, well enough to make it worth it.

Interesting if Arteta doesn’t come in for him, assuming therefore that Arteta doesn’t rate Sterling

If he does go, it wouldn't surprise me if he does really well. If only for two reasons , a ) different role to play and b) something to prove.

Would be a decent deal, considering. Are they saying Barca or Real, the detail is a little jaded.

Bumping this as 100 PL goals is quite an achievement. Only 2 pens as well.

Not gonna lie, I shit myself when he took the ball…

I'm very happy for him. He's not Messi, but he's /have been a great servant of MCFC.

Well done Raza. Seasons gone by he’s saved us a few times.

Worst case this is adding to his value or at least keeping it high.
