So, who is going to be, realistically speaking.

Do what you must to get haaland ahead of the pack in Jan
Isak might be a cheaper alternative- banging them in a sociedad, a tall strong striker, ideal for grealish’ crosses - flopped badly at bvb though but looking greatly improved - only just signed a new contract with allegedly a 60 million release clause

Nor will anyone who wants more than 300k a week in wages. Which rules out the likes of Mbappe as well

If we got Haaland, we would dominate chumps league for the duration of his contract - nevermind our own PL.
Unfortunately, we will be looking at a second level like Isaak or the Serb kid and be watching Haaland tearing it up elsewhere

Rumors his old man and agent want 20 mill each as well as Haaland himself looking for 500k a week. Not at all just a little bit greedy are they. Reasonable chaps.

I think Vlahovici is our target. Saw he scored 6 goals in 7 games this season so far, while Isak just one goal.
Also, Nunez, the kid from Benfica 4 out of 5. A player from Benfica, what could go wrong?

Omly saw Isak at the Euros and he looked ok. I know next to nothing about the Serb other than we will get more fan-boys so there's a reason to avoid
See how things progress at the swamp and take Cavani - top striker

I think we might as well put this striker issue on the back burner till the summer - it’s pointless looking in January .
I’m actually glad we never got Kane as l think he’s pretty much done and we would have spunked a shit load for very little in return .
All pep has to fucking do is to play players who are on form and those that aren’t can stay on the fucking bench ffs!!
Please baldie - do not fuck up this Sunday by playing that useless cunt in the starting line up again .

I think we should go all out in January, Carl.
Last night showed us our flaws and we will see them again because even with our best 11 we will be at some point one down. And at that moment the passing from side to side will not work.
If by January we are still for all four trophies, 100% we need a striker.

The passing from side to side would possibly have worked last night had we not missed the easiest open goal ever.
We have beaten Leicester and Chelsea away playing very well. Unfortunately every time we play Sterling through the middle now we don't seem to score and I'm sure they do want to cash in but there's very few clubs could afford him and every time he doesn't play his value will drop. He also seems to be a confidence player and in Pep's first 2 title years he was the main man and producing. Now he's not and he's in his shell. I was convinced before the team was announced last night that him and Mahrez would play, i thought there'd be more changes as well because it wasn't as important as the 2 league games side by side. Beat Bruges twice and we're practically through.
I'm also pretty sure he'll pick the team that beat Chelsea on Sunday.

If we want to be the best club in the world we’re going to need to buy the best players and every so often buy that generational talent. It’s Haarland, just fucking pay now! I can’t stand another season this. It’s good enough for most games but quite simply it’s not football without a striker on the pitch.

Spoke about Nunez, just scored a good one vs Barcelona.
Benfica 1-0.

All this striker talk is a drudge.
All this flaffing about. We just have to deal with it better and use what we actually have.
If Jesus wants to play wide, then he clearly doesn't really believe in himself to be the answer.
So just get Torres in the team, and give him a run, not just a game now and then, that's no use.
Get Delap on the bench and give him some time when the opportunity arises, mainly against lesser opposition.
Play players who can do a job there, who can develop, who can improve. Be brave, don't play out of form players, midfielders or wingers upfront.
That wont be enough and last night proved it beyond any doubt.

If it comes down to money the Rags have to be favorites to sign Haaland.
Worrying considering how good he is and how greedy his agent is.

My thoughts exactly. They’ll have no problems paying £20m each to his agent and dad. Alfie seems like the type who would sell out for money as well judging by the around the world tour he did last season pimping his son out.

The whole striker debate is interesting in the fact that every time we don't score we say a striker would be the difference but Chelsea have lost 2 games on the trot without scoring and their fans are crying about the fact there's nobody to create a chance for Lukaku because Mason Mount isn't playing.
