Ticket transfer enquiry

Sorry for being thick, I can't find help on mancity.com
A friend wants to transfer tickets to me today, he has my City account number so this is all straightforward.
The bit I'm struggling with is the phone ticketing system. How do I use my phone as a ticket?
I've searched wrbsite and ticket support line is not open today.

Once is transferred to your city account, you can access it under tickets on the app, then dowbload it and it saves to your wallet but it depends on your phone.

I got mine swiped in porto so was on an old phone and it didnt have a " wallet " which is where it saves to.

When you say app do you mean the City app? I vaguely remember seeing a video about Google Pay app. Can't find it now.

Yes " city app " much easier there - log into that.

Do you need a City account and the app to get tickets transferred to you? I always got tickets sorted through mates from this site, so never bothered to get a City account...

I already got flights and hotel booked for thee league up weekend, so don't want to fall on this hurdle. Should get a City account sorted too if thats needed. (Do I already have one if I've bought stuff online from the City store?)

Depending how you get the ticket either need someone to print you a ticket or you need an account

For people you trust i dont think people realise you can have an account in multi phones ie. My dada ticket theyve ive kept on ive sold to a guy but i also have it on my phone so if he cant go i can swipe somwone in

Piss poor today atmosphere wise and rows of empty seats in 110 which used to be goldust evwn 109 was back being more lively.
