Holy shit your right Sherlock Homesin this one
Bull Shit

You could see the ref fiddling and talking to his earpiece, obviously asking what the fuck he was supposed to be giving.

Last game I’ll be watching now, apart from our games, it’s now just blatantly shitting in my eyes.

red was harsh there , yellow for being daft , not a red though , certainly wasn't intentional .

Got to say if that was given against us I'd be fuming. Not a penalty in my eyes

Sorry, Z, but if we go off precedence in the same game then it’s a penalty. The fact that it took the ref that long whilst watching it, where you could clearly see him trying to understand what the VAR was saying, says more than anything to me.

There’s also the fact that both commentators and Peter Walton stated that it’s a penalty, which is almost unknown for that to happen, proves you’re as blind as a fucking bat ;-)

I’d agree, but we know that they are given for them and not for us. The main point for me is that it was a very similar one to what Liverpool got. The only way to overturn it was to prove that Jota did not touch him, which obviously couldn’t be done.

Just another game where certain teams get certain decisions. The brand needs the biggest pull and what better way to ensure that than giving the likes of Liverpool a helping hand.

Ps. All the UK pundits were embarrassed by the ref’s decision, that’s why they were laughing like little kids.

Disagree. For me stonewall. The Athi player got ahead of Jota and was then nudged as he was about to go for the ball.
The red card? Maybe. Could be classified as dangerous play but was 100% unintentional.

Point is, two huge decisions and both judgements were very harsh. Both went Liverpool's way - again.
And that was the winning of the match.
Corrupt to the core.

aah he was nudged ! really ! how many times do we see wrestling at Corners ? come on , he was going down anyway because he had no chance of getting to the ball. Never a foul - more a dive.

Z, Your opinion, mate, everybody is allowed one. Penalty for me, with Walton’s blessing (1st time ever), and not a penalty for you, that’s why forums work.

Here's the SKY commentary on the non-penno

ATLETICO 2-3 LIVERPOOL

84: I can't believe this! Liverpool have got lucky here. NO PENALTY!

21:43

ATLETICO 2-3 LIVERPOOL

83: Referee Siebert is studying this closely - as we know, if the ref goes to the screen, the decision is USUALLY overturned.

21:42

ATLETICO 2-3 LIVERPOOL

83: Oh my... the referee is going to the pitchside monitor. He's going to look at the foul, but it was a clear nudge in the back, as far as I can see!

21:42

ATLETICO 2-3 LIVERPOOL

Sky Sports' Peter Smith:

"There's a long VAR check - read into that what you will - but Jota will be fortunate to get away with this..."

21:42
ATLETICO 2-3 LIVERPOOL

82: It's so clumsy from Jota. Liverpool's game management has been poor.

LUIS SUAREZ is preparing to take this!

21:41

ATLETICO 2-3 LIVERPOOL

Sky Sports' Peter Smith:

"Have you ever known a game like this?!"

21:41

ATLETICO 2-3 LIVERPOOL

81: PENALTY TO ATLETICO!

When will this madness stop?

From the free-kick, Jota barges Gimenez in the back, and the referee gives himself a second before pointing to the spot!

It's onside, and that's a silly push from Jota. This won't be overturned.

On a positive note, Liverpool defence looks an absolute shambles. I am still not convinced that VVD is as good as he was pre-injury.

I now give the Rags a chance of beating Liverpool. If they pack their defence and hit them on the break they will get chances. That may be enough.

The rags also have Alty Taylor in their corner for the match.

After last night’s blatant corruption I won’t shed a tear when Uefa are eventually fucked off and clubs join a Super League.
