Had some good news today regarding career so thought I’d have a brandy to celebrate. Wish I hadn’t now because this commentary is making me puke!

If I remember right, this used to be the commentary for all English clubs when we were told to get behind the English teams. That was until City got there.

Atalanta had sterling chances to finish the game off and have blown it

If they get out of the group that defence will struggle in the knock outs.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

That was all down to Atalanta who stopped playing their own game. Saying that, they have been dogged with injuries which was mentioned in the first half when their 3rd choice CB went off.
They made them look good 2nd half but I’ll reserve judgement for a few more weeks after they’ve played some decent teams. I wouldn’t be celebrating though, I’d be washing the sweat off my brow.

Can't wait for the derby. We're due a performance and hopefully, no pissing about with the line up.

Are we allowed to bring Michael Ball back for it so he can stamp on Ronaldo again?

I'd sooner have Stephen Jordan back to keep him in his pocket for 90 minutes.

I'll be just as happy watching him self implode at the hands of City 2021 IF we turn up.

This might be very silly but based on tonight's match I think Ronaldo is a huge problem for the Rags. A problem that is going to get bigger.
He is starting to look his age, pace let him down a couple of times tonight, he brings very little to the party. Yes he can score but only if the team adapts to what he needs. The team lose more elsewhere.
His ego is another problem. Another public display of annoyance tonight when they went two down. This just had to piss of some of his team mates.
Then the whole PR circus and his media and advertising contacts. If he does not get what he wants (game time), his media contacts will up the ante. OGS cannot control this.
Finally he comes across as a total self obsessed bell end.
Hope I am right.

You are right.
They are a collection of individuals, not a team. And while occasionally they will win games handsomely, over an extended period of time they won’t prevail
