Brighton had a real go second half.

I thought we defended really well ,except for Eddie Brain fart.

We took the sting out of them.

We get Haaland we are going to be a team to reckon with.

Overall a good win. Brilliant first half, poor second half. But 4-1 at Brighton is a good result, especially considering their form.

I'm expecting a Liverpool win tomorrow but hopefully United raise their game, or at least Ronaldo gets his usual late equaliser.

Strange second half. Lost control of midfield. Silly mistake by big Ed. Then suddenly a switch was flicked and we got the game back again. Maybe it was the subs but I suspect Brighton ran out of gas. Excellent result but Pep will not be pleased with most of the second half.

Thats a good away win against a decent side playing good football and will cause many teams a lot of trouble, only slight criticism is our slow use of subs again when the tide was turning second half.

At 5.30 if 4-1 was on the table I’d have been as pleased as punch. There won’t be many sides who go to Brighton and basically batter them.

Three points. Away at a very decent side. Coming after an away game in the CL midweek. Can’t really ask for any more

There were a few negatives. The second half we were very disjointed, not keeping the ball well at all. But we were 3 goals to the good so it might be a bit churlish to criticise too much
I thought Ederson had a poor game for his standards.

But these are outweighed by the many positives

So away from home we have faced Spurs, Chelsea, Leicester, Dippers and now Brighton. All very tough places to go away. Very promising start to the season

Brighton had only lost 1 game in their last ten before tonight, that was against Everton. Fair enough, they had only played Leicester and Arsenal of note but they were flying high and that confidence came through in the second half. Eddie may have given a penalty but he also made a few decent saves to keep them out.

A very good win and keeps us on the march.

Harlem Globetrotters first half. 2nd...absurd. However, perhaps they fancied conserving energy, I've no idea. Just stopped possessing the ball, which is our stock in trade. Last 5 minutes, we possess the ball and we score easily. Nuts. This team is incredible. When they fancy it, good night Vienna.
After the ball was centred, after the whistle blew...

All due respect but wtf has Grealish performance got to do with a player that was not in the match day squad?

Are you on drugs mate? He was lively throughout. Got an assist and we scored from his shot being rebound. He was always looking to draw players in to play. Very much not woeful

He got an 8.17 rating on WhoScored which made him our third best player tonight.
