I think my channel is an African channel with one of the normal Brit commentators. Been really good, just commentating on the moves and no talk of the cost of players, just referring to Grealish and Foden as ‘Super stars’ when they panned to the bench.

Just shows that it is an editorial decision from the UK broadcasters.

That's the same as mine. Supersport from South Africa. Think it's Peter Drury whose sidekick is usually Jim beglin. It's a throwback to the old days when you had one commentator talking about the game rather than nowadays when they feel the need to talk shite to their co-commentator non stop through the game

Drury and Beglin are the best in the business, if you ask me. A delight to hear them.
Incredible someone as boring as Tyler made it so far.

is Andy Gray still commentating anywhere?

Must never have listened to Barry Davies

Great shout, but he is old-school. Remember his voice from Atlanta 96, I think he actually commentated the Nigeria vs Argentina final, one of the best ever. Don't remember him in the 90s in the Prem. Did he commentate that?

With the team Pep put out, it wouldn’t be a surprise. Let’s see if he wants to go deep into this competition or he’d rather give the lads a bit of a rest.

I honestly think he never considers we might not win in normal time

This is my fault. Had flights to Manchester last weekend for a concert, but cancelled due to too much hassle with Covid testing. Rescheduled my Easy Jet flight to London for the cup final weekend :-)
