That's what I just read. Cardiac arrhythmia which he suffered from as a child. Undergoing further tests to establish the severity. Fingers crossed for him.

You know, now you start to ask some questions:

a) Did we know about this? Did HE know about this? Was this one of the reasons we didn't sign an extension?
b) Is this the famous "Catalan juice system"?

We have an example here in Romania, Dinamo Bucharest. In the last 20 years, Dinamo lost two players on the field, died right there and many talked about what regime they have. Last week, another of their players had something similar to Serge.
There are clubs that have this kind of thing.

Myocarditis is common from the vaccine, so much so that you can get exempt from remaining vaccines in the UK if the first one has given it you.

It wouldn’t surprise me if most of those are linked with the vaccine.

I thought vaccine myocarditis was incredibly rare according to the papers?

My mate has had it because of the vaccine and his GP has just signed him off for being vaccine exempt. He’s waiting on the NHS to confirm. When you go on the GOV website myocarditis is the condition used as the eg. for applying to be exempt. If it was rare I doubt they’d use it as the example.

They’re now panicking and saying that the studies suggestion there was a 1 in 1,000 risk of people developing myocarditis or inflammation of the heart after receiving the Moderna or Pfizer/BioNTech vaccines is wrong. Course they are

The authors who wrote the study (not studies) are saying it's wrong, because they calculated the incidence rate based on 32,000 vaccines having been administered, not close to 850,000, as was actually the case. Here's the explanation: https://www.reuters.com/article/factche ... SL1N2QX1WS, and here's the letter the authors themselves wrote: https://archive.md/UCKQK.

Basically, the incidence risk is 0.0037%, not 0.1%. Whether or not that is statistically significant hasn't been determined, because the authors realized they were so wrong with their numbers that they retracted the study's findings.

Did you copy and paste that BiB and pretend you wrote that post?

Genuine question as you wrote ‘realized’ but I thought you were Welsh?

No, I tend to use 'ize/ization' rather than 'ise/isation' because a) it's also standard in UK English (Oxford spelling) and what I prefer to use in my own writing because it's more 'internationally acceptable', and b) it results in less red lines on the screen in my internet browser. You can quite easily check by looking at any of my other posts on here; I switched from 'ise' to 'ize' pretty much at the same time as I switched from Mozilla to Chrome - 5 or 6 years ago, I reckon.
