Tough match for defenders. Quite surprised there weren’t penalties. Wins against Everton after the international break, PSG and now a decent West Ham side. All without Kevin, Phil and Jack. That’ll do me. Hopefully they’ll be available on Wednesday.

How god are we. We can even do it on a cold, snowy, windy afternoon in Manchester.

The way we controlled that game in those conditions was impressive.

Credit the players of both sides for the effort and skill in awful conditions only negative for me was Sterling losing possession gifting the ball to opponents should not be in that side

Who would you have played instead - Palmer? Raz wasn't on the pitch when they scored either, he was subbed for Fern in case you hadn't noticed. Actually he played very well, this Sterling hate theme is tiresome.

I thought Sterling did well and busted a gut all game.

Just shows how we see the game differently.

Thought Sterling had a good game , frustrating as ever but always involved and carried a threat , Mahrez should have gone off instead of him , but enough said about him , AFCON cannot come round quick enough!

I hold my hands up about Rodri thought he was a plodder and was too slow , he looks like he has all the time in the world but is right in there when needed , invites other players onto him then uses his body strength to swat them away , great range of passing as well.

Sterling was giving the ball away mate. I think more than anything that’s why he went off. Losing possession and putting us under pressure was probably pissing Pep off.

Giving the ball away is what happens at the sharp end of our attacks where Sterling operates, same with Foden and Grealish and anybody else when they play in that final phase role. Get a grip.

I’ll let Pep know he needs to get a grip as well mate, because he made the decision.

EDIT: according to the stats from the match, Sterling had 4 unsuccessful touches (bad control), more than any other City player today.

I reckon he's still got the hump over Lescott.

Gave the ball away more than anyone else in our 11 and ,more often than not ,they countered with it - those are the facts, not opinions.

At best , he was average but in no way did he do well .

That’s why pep took him off .
