Happy New Year all
2021 was a great year for us. Let's hope 2022 is as good, if not better.
And what better way to start it off with a win today to take us 11 points clear.
I think this will be a hard fought game as Arsenal are in form and have a possible advantage of having extra rest time. But we have a fantastic record of late v the gunners and I think we will just go enough to extend it
2-1 Sterling

Even if we lose it’s not the end of the world. We’ve done brilliantly so far this season and we can expect another loss at some point. Tough part of the season.

Not surprising if true. The amount of pictures I’ve seen of him the last couple of days, in shops without a mask. The guy is stupid.
And if he has it you can guarantee Grealish does too. They were all over each other the other night.

Rodri back which is a welcome surprise. Walker not fit to start which is expected. It’s a strong team. Foden and Walker would play in our strongest 11 but that’s it.

McAtee back on the bench. He’ll surely play a significant part in the FA Cup match as will Cole Palmer.

I'm more inclined toward this. Not sure Arteta has it in him to play like Palace/Southampton

Supposed to be a finisher, looking forward to seeing him properly, more than Palmer or Delap.
The Salford Silva apparently (though he was a fuckin awful finisher- until the last few weeks with us!)

« Not fully fit ». Probably equals Covid.
