All the talk about Palmer, what about Bernie? Typical English commentary.

Yes.

Though if ever they remade the Royle family, he'd fit right in

Yep, would you say he’s like ‘Our David’, Antony or Twiggy?

Great spot ;-)

Palmer seems like a very level headed guy. Great future ahead of him. MoM Bernardo in my view. Pretty as usual. Rodri and Cancelo were very good as well. Steffen should have made the save on the goal having seen it again.

To who?

I'd swap him for Mbappe in a heartbeat

You don't think there would be big queue to sign him?

Every club in the world would want to sign him. But how many could/would offer "mega money"

I'd suggest not many

Thought Tin Tin was great tonight. Some daft comments at time on here. Cash in on Tin tin haha !
Really, they were going through the motions tonight. Swindon were clueless, but to be fair that is what
was expected. Shake hands , swap shirts - they are happy ,

The only sensible words spoken tonight about KDB.

Arguably the best player in the Premiership if not Europe.

This pandemic really has left some normally well balanced posters only seeing the negative in our beloved club, odd, very odd......

I think Swindon deserve some respect from that game, at least they had a go and didn't try the Wolves and Burnley type of game

They were a breath of fresh air, like many of the teams we face in the cup. It’s the PL teams who don’t want to compete and choose to dampen the spectacle that they are paid for, they’re are the real thieves of the great English leagues.

That was a great FA Cup match. Good away support and a big night out for swindon fans. Ake has come in from the cold and been excellent the last few games and Cole Palmer was fantastic. Delighted the youngsters got a run out they'll be on a high. Love this Cup.

The only decent Shaw I can think of played up front for Villa.

Was that before he put all that weight on?

Always been a favourite.

Can I just mention the commentary, it was very good compared to how we are usually viewed but I did have a ‘You twat’ moment prior to the game when the lead said Ashley Cole had won more FA Cups than us in our entire history. It just seemed a stat that didn’t have to be stated.

I’ve always liked Ake but you will only see the best when they they have a run of games. In our side, that’s difficult.

Personally I'd have him above Laporte and Stones at centre half on current form and a great back up left back aswell. But as you say need to see 5 or 6 more games to get a good look.

Not quite sure of that but as a player who can split between LCB and LB, he’s a must. His couple of runs tonight showed he understands the Pep way, dragging players to where we want them to open the space.

He is growing, I like him ;-)
